I was wondering if this would work or not. I thought of this build after watching a magic knight build (which uses tempest). Basically, you use Punishing Ray in combo with storm to convert your attack to magic power. Helberd's have terrible matck from stats using magic affectivly has to be used with Punishing Ray. Thank you I Robot and Red_Fox for information. Rough Combo: Deadly Spear > Impact (con) > Punishing Ray (swift) > Storm (smite) Notes: This combo is still being worked out. Full Str and Agi (Punishing Ray is built on attack stat) Punishing Ray Info Matck is based on attack stat. Does not combo with characters matck. Long cast time of 1 to 2 secs. Doesn't do well in combos. Halberd Lv3 Flash Stab ~ 5 Deadly Spear ~ 5 Punishing Ray ~ 10 (?) what other skills would work with is build Magic Lv3 Arrows ~ 5 Javelin ~ 5 Lances ~ 5 Impact ~ 7 Wall ~ 5 Blast ~ 5 Storm ~ 10 MP Charge ~ 10 Chain Cast ~ 5 Power Wave ~ 1 (?) for better reach Shot Lv3 Shot Mastery ~ 5 Long Range ~ 5 Quick Draw ~ 10 Priest Lv2 Holy Fist ~ 1 (?) Or would it be better to get attack up skills to increase magic attack? Str up skills are better to increase storm out put. Will dps be good or terrible? Full Str and Agi. Using magic outside Punishing Ray is terrible so magic is used sparingly. How do the halberd skills play into the overall build? Used as main attack while magic is back up. How does crit boost work? Is it for the magic or the next attack after magic? Crit is added to next skill after magic. Should a tumble skill be added? Should a sub weapon be added to the build? Is impact needed? Should Magic take a back seat and halberd skills be 80% of build? A 20/80 build. Yes full helberd with storm and impact in back pocket.
