Timber shortage issue

Supposedly 'Timber Shortage' guest from Yunis is unlocked by defeating Brutal Dragon Decel. So its unlocked on my first character, does anyone know why it's not unlocked on my second character? Well above the level requirements. It says Insufficient Progress

 

Side-quests requirements aren't shared between your characters

 

So I need to defeat the dragon with my second character as lead?

 

Not necessarily. You can:
①Upon creation of new character, select the latest chapter instead, or
②Abandon current main quest of the second character.

That saves you the hassle of fighting the dragon again just to do that side quest, but remember that you will automatically be moved to the end of the most recent main quest you completed.

 

Just be forwarned, if your main is updated to the current released story line, it is best to start from scratch. Coz you will miss a lot of good stuff and subject that char to grind hell until it can catch up.
