how do you guys calculate what stat is worth what cost?
While keeping in mind profit for yourselves?
You guys use a formula? (If so, plz do tell qwq)
In combination with the mat price??
And is statting a stable and profitable business? When you are new to this?

I stat the easy and sell able int 10% matk 10% cast speed 20%, I farm the material myself for 3 hours and it sold for 350k on cb. Better than farming giant boar 4 hour using luk hb and get no crystal. Yes I do use formula, just modify a bit the formula of int 7% matk 7%.

Yup 350K an armor with IM10Cspd20 for 3 hour work. Isnt the formula is just profit = worth of stat or price customer willing to pay - stating material cost - weapon or armor price? The material cost like wood : 10k spina for one stack ivy vine and process for 1k wood, to stat IM10 you will need 39 stack of ivy vine without bs prof. So 390k worth of wood already over the price the buyer willing to pay. Sorry if I fail to answer your question...

You can either sell your statting service which would usually cost equivalent to the material cost. Or, you stat clean +S gears or 2 slot armors to give them a selling point albeit at a loss when you compare it to a pure material to spina cost when you do a statting service. Usually they farm the materials themselves rather than buying through cb or material hunters.

Like that im10cspd20 armor. You are selling a full package. Ppl with no statter character would surely buy them rather than buying a clean 2 slot armor.

Where are you farming your mats? It shouldn't take 3 hours.
If you have a luk halberd you can farm at stronger mobs, try farm grape jelly/acernix for the meds, Ivy for the wood and lil boar should be fine for the beasts. It would take maybe an hour and a half in a full party or course at those spots.
And maybe try stat that on armor, I'm10% int20 is popular. Heaven feather garbs one slot are very cheap, the lower pot ones and with that stat it can sell for at least 700k and even more if it's refined.

If you want to make the most profit statting it's better to farm the mats yourself because the market prices are so cheap rn.
For instance if you had to buy mana at 120k/4 that's 3m spina for 100k mana points and factor in all the other mats needed for the stat you probably going to make a very small profit if you buying gears and statting them and then selling them on cb.
But if you open a shop here or sell service ingame directly to people you can probably get away with charging higher prices and ripping people off who don't buy off cb and perhaps want gears they made or bought statted but don't have a statter when they could buy the same stat on cb for probably 2/3 the price, so buying mats and statting could be possible that way.

With events like hanami and summer shells if you have a statter and farm these then profits can be very good. And hanami we can double our mana if we craft add gear at npc and then proc it. It costs some spina to do but it's still far cheaper than buying summer shells.
So if you farm the mats yourself the only cost would be your time and the only spina cost would be the gear you buy to stat if you go that route or like I said you can sell directly to people.

I test this formula at coryn website with 76 but get 99% success rate, so I modified a bit to 100% success rate with max material per step of 48400 if no bs prof.
