Ultimate gem + Drop rate books?

Well i'm sure glad that I caught your attention! I think some of you see where I'm going with this.. but, I wonder if anyone has ever used an Ultimate Gem WITH multiple drop rate +50% books. I mean it could do nothing, but one might also think that you could get MULTIPLE rare drops (ex. 2 xtals?) perhaps? Totally willing to test this out if nobody knows lol.

 

If you were to use all gems and have 5 drop rate books it's rumored that you'll get 2s boss drops, it may not be true but it's a good theory haha

 

Welp. That sounds hilariously out of reach unless you just have money to throw around like that XD.

well, in case of potions, those with similar effects (like increasing max hp) will not stack and only the strongest will apply.
so it is possible that the special items won't stack either.

 

We're talking about boss drops though, there are times where 2 of the same items have dropped (armor, bows, swords, etc), it could be the same with xtals

 

You could get two xtals, yes. One from ranking reward and one from drop. But you see, you can't go higher than 100% base drop rate. So 2 xtals can't drop from loot. As I believe once you pass an item in loot, you can't get it again. For example, volg. Xtal>arm>mats. If you got horn, you can't get another horn unless ranking.

 

It says on the potion "this will not work wither other x boosting potions" though.

 

See idk. Because I've definately gotten two of the same boss drops before without the ranking reward. So it's an interesting question haha

 

Well, there's a possibility then. But firstly, the amount of people who have ultimate gems in the first place are minimal. Maybe 100 per every 10,000 or something. Nice fake statistic.

Very nice XD. Well i went and blew and extra few dollars I made on a scratch off and had a bunch of avatar stuff. Got 2 ults. Used one on roga (that battle took half an hour!) The other I still have with me. So whenever the next boss comes out...XD

Yes you can. I did Legendary(50% base)+balft book(50% increase)=75% and one out of three alts that I solo run eerie manage to get 2x c.arm. Though I don't think making the drop rate over 100% will do anything, it still depends on your luck whether you manage to get it off ranking too. The other 3 of my account get Black miasma and Irogeon, but all of them manage to get eerie xtal and c.arm each after I got out.

 

Guess I'll have to find out lol

 

If by any chance you could record the boss battle and post video, this will be extremely helpful for many people that have the gem and don't know when to use it and what results they'll get.

 

Definately. I can tell you though with 100% certainty that if you use that gem(with no other drop rate modifiers), you AND your party members will get at least 1 of every drop that the boss can drop.

 

i used it before with my gf in pt at eerie. I can me and her both got eerie xtal and xtal armor in one run. literally every single loot drops. Please note if your not that strong and probably of considering a higher level boss. bring a strong party with you for the difficult is highly increased to kill them.

 

And to add to this idea... In Iruna pets would pick up items too. Therefore my question is. If counted as a party member.

A: will they get these drops
B: will the book and gem affect go to them also.. Imagine 4x eerie xtal from one pet and player PT run. Lol
