Was an old player that came back as level 1

Just wondering a few things coz I was ths player for all the time..

1. Is katana a good dps option?
2. Do people still use swordfu build and does it have good dps ?
3. I'm all about dps only melee weaponry so any good guide for me to rush level ?
4. Is ths any good or bad now ? During my time ths is the most insane dps tho...

Any other tips for me ??

 

1. Yes.
2. Not really, though some people still use it. Damage wise it's not bad.
3. Get a high level friend mercenary, do MQ, you should be lv135 ish after you finish. Kill minibosses/bosses up to 9 levels away from you to gain exp. Aim for lv150 to unlock lv4 skills.
4. THS is still pretty good, though Enchant Sword just got slowed down. That wouldn't be a problem if you just stick to the blade skill tree.

 

1) Katana is good dps but you need to spend time on learning to use zettai.
2) About swordfu, in this year i havent meet/party with them. Maybe not many player has swordfu build.
3) Well, leveling is easy now since the new exp system is less restricted. Best way, to rush it, you must finished the mq, after that you can
farm exp via npc quest especially at Garden of Beginning. The path for leveling still same/slightly changed a bit. For example, no one farm the commander
golem now everyone just go to venena.
4) Tbh ths still nice and fun to play. So its good on my eyes.
As for tips, before you go for leveling/farming.Uhmm, be sure to eat food buff first >_<

 

1.yes indeed... once u main reach lvl 150-170 tho.

3.go for both mq leveling and side-quest/mobs. boss farm can wait once u're complete (gears n skill builds)
4.THS meteor breaker r just too oop it "meteor breaker" my phone n thnx to that, hiatus few months. (n thts the truth of my sudden inactivity)

 

1. yes.. toram is japanese games, obviously katana is a good dps
2. yes.. sword fu have a decent dps, also is tanky, with ailments n crowd control (meteor + chariot)
3. to rush lvls.. main quest it ll leave u in lv 130+ .. after tht just boss farm (weekly boost is good help)
4. THS is the same beast as always, with decent build n gears ofc

TIPS:
food buffs from friend lands
mercenaries for main quest
l know a guy who lvl up till 130 by farming mobs n minibosses before mq.. the mq leave him in lv 150+

 

Ok nice guys . i was having trouble to access accessing this game with my new phone because the sim 4g isn't compatible with this China phone.. apparently I have to downgrade to 3g to do so..and I'm glad ths still decent.

Gonna go for ths coz I love big sword. Thanks for the tips guys! As usual best mobile game community.

 

Anyone know if playing as solo.. ths or dw will be a better option? Solo bosses etc.. not sure if any of these two sword class as I tend to play it solo most of the time..

 

Both classes have their own pros and cons. DW has 2 movement options (backstep and shadow step), 3 invincibility options (2 which are used - reaper + PS), 1 reliable interrupt (hard hit), as well as 1 damage reduction skill (cross parry). THS can use METEOR to keep up the DPS while dodging the big hit. It depends on the boss. If it forces you to continuously try and back away or run around avoiding AOEs, then THS is better, but otherwise if it's something that just has 1 or 2 circle AOE attacks in front of it. THS is also good at dealing with bosses that spawn mobs as Meteor is a powerful AOE around the spot it hits.

1. Katana with the best top tier gear is arguably the best DPS in the game as long as the boss doesn't have really high defense. God Speed Wield Tenryu spam with full elem weapon and armor is no joke.
2. GM: Sarah uses Sword Fu - and she sucks at it (even tho Sarah is awesome! - I honestly really want to see her gear and know if it's actually that crappy. It looks like no refine, no stat, and no xtal type of damage). I suppose it's a nice class since it can abuse Proto Clarity's physical pierce while having 100% tumble and flinch as well as many DPS options: Buster (fuck crit resist), Rush (motion speed wooo!), Meteor (AOE around you), Chariot (straight line CF-like no-charge AOE) - for different boss scenarios. I hear sword fu also has pretty fast animations which is good for DPS too. It has its use for crowd control at the same time as DPS. Sword skill tree brings nice AMPR options in Rampage, and Trigger slash, which pairs nicely with decoy shot.
3. Finish MQ and find a group of guildies/friends who is willing to boost you from 134/137 all the way to 150. If you use books that's fast and pretty easy either with minibosses or actual ULTI bosses.
4. THS is still good, probably slightly overshadowed by DW and KTN, but it's still great with buster sword's high damage and guaranteed CRIT as well as METEOR's screw everything invincibility and DPS combo.

Sorry if this is unrelated to the thread, but...

Was she always at 4th attacker rank (3rd if there was a tank) on boss fight? The streaming itself showed her damage number, right?

 

Not only her damage is low, she doesn't know how to play. I remember in a few streams, she approached the boss manually despite having Shukuchi.

 

I also saw on one stream where she just spams astute...
