Weakness, Spell Burst, and Finale

I'm confused with how all these siills interact with each other.

From what I understand, having Spell Burst at lvl10 will allow the user to Crit their magic attacks with a critical rate of CR*0.25=mCR. I'm presuming the critical damage is the same for regular critical damage, meaning a magical critical hit will do 150% damage.

I'm not sure how the weakness ailment works on mobs. From what I've read, the mob for 5s, becomes vurnerable to magic critical attacks by... how much of a % increase? Players without the Spell Burst skil would still be able to magical critical?

Lastly, the skill that inflicts weakness is Element Slash. Apparently it has a 10% to inflict weakness, and a 100% rate if the mob is weak to your sub/main weapon. Is this the correct description of the skill?

 

idk well about weakness but magic crit hits less dmg than physical. i guess it's near %20 more dmg

 

spell burst cdmg = 100 + (total cdmg - 100)(0.25)

weaken boost = 100 + (total cdmg - 100)(0.50)

this both also stack
Spell burst + Weaken = total Magic CDMG/Magic CRT

Magic crit rate also same as formula in Magic cdmg

5.)Spellburst

Gives chance to magic attacks to crit under certain conditions.

Passive skill

Effect:gives + flat magic critical rate(based on total Critical Rate) and magic critical damage(based on total Critical Damage).

--If enemy is inflicted with weaken ailment-

Magic Critical Rate=CR/2

--if enemy is not inflicted with weaken ailment

Magic Critical Rate=CR*[round_down(skill lvl*2.5)]/100

Magic Critical Damage=100+((CD-100)*[round_down(skill lvl*2.5)]/100)+if_enemy_is_inflicted_with_weaken_ailment(CD-100/2)

5.) Element Slash

Active skill (single target) {Magic}

Limitation: MD sub weapon only

MP Cost: 200MP

Action Range: Same as the range of MD sub

Element: Same as the MD sub element

Base Skill Multiplier: 1 + SkillLvl*0.5+ SkillLvl*([INT + STR]/25)/100

Base Skill Constant: 50 + 15*SkillLvl

Ailment Inflict: WEAKEN

Ailment Inflict Chance: 1*SkillLvl % (10x Bonus if MDsub has element weakness of the enemy)

NOTES:

--Despite being a magic skill element slash can miss/graze/evade. HIT/Evade check is done similiar to a physical skill.

--INT/STR from equipment does not contribute to Skill Rate

NOTES ON WEAKEN:

Effect: Allow magic skills to critical. Also reduce MagicDef of non boss enemies by 25%

Magic Critical:

--A magic skill can critical if it has element weakness of the enemy while the enemy is inflicted by WEAKEN ailment

--The overall critical rate is halved however it is unaffected by crit resist of the enemy

--The overall critical damage is reduced to (100 + (TotalCDMG - 100)/2)

according to these formula
with just spellburst you have magic cr=¼*total cr.
with weaken magic cr=½*total cr.
no additional cr if you have both

with just spellburst magic cd=100+((total cd-100)*¼)
with just weaken magic cd=100+((total cd-100)*½)
if both magic cd=100+((total cd-100)*¾)

 

im magic warrior main. crit resist affect magic crit (spell burst+weaken) perfect execution. of course i have 100% magic critical rate

 

Wait, so merely the Weaken debuff itself is enough to cause your Magic skills to crit?

Also, Spellburst is 75% Phy.CDMG now since the last skill rebalance soooo... Idk
Weaken debuff only applies 50% still?

 

Element slash is unviable because of the accuracy check making it miss a lot. Question, with enough crit will it be able to hit reliably? Even if the skill only Graze, does it still inflict weaken?

 

I tested weakened a month ago. It will only crit. if the magic skill is weak to the ailment. Finale is neutral element and can't be changed so it can't critical. Burst of the other hand...

 

as long the element slash with hit with correct element it will inflict weaken (if your acc is not match at dodge boss you option is to trigger it using spell burst or weapon white graze)

spell burst is now 75% even with weaken the magic crit is cap at 75% only

What you say is that the Magic Skill will only crit through Weaken(excluding SpellBurst) if the element of the Magic Skill is what the boss is weak to. Did I get it right?

 

Oh wait so, in order for Element Slash to crit, you need Spellburst Magic Crit in order for it to crit and not Physical Crit Rate?

 

Element Slash have many layer to able to hit

1st - Normal Accuracy
2nd - Absolute Accuracy
3rd - White Graze
4th - Spell Burst (1/4 of ur total crit)

Element Slash wont use normal crt ratio cuz its magical skill (but this skill need rework atleast using Physical CRT ratio)

 

Critical stats are still good for mage user.

For finale user, stacking flat crit and cdmg gear are enough. You don't need weaken ailment. Just let spellburst do the rest and hope yellow number appear.

For rich mages, you can try to build 100% magic crit.
Element slash hit rate is bad, but you can reduce it by casting crit boost skills. Meikyo for staff user or punish ray for sword user are really great.
If you are lucky, resonance will add another crit rate up to 75. Add 40 from meikyo or 100 from p.ray and your element slash will have great hit rate.

Of course you need element main weapon for these stuffs, so i only recommend these for hardcore mages.

Element slash > impact (con) > burst (smite) > meikyo (con)
adlib > mp charge (swift) > maximize (save) > meikyo (swift) > finale (smite)

 

Elemental Slash > Impact > Burst > Meikyo.

Since it takes some time for burst to hit the target, animation-wise, will using Meikyo trigger with burst before it hits... does it work like this?

 

meikyo will be casted after burst. burst is not a placed skill, you cannot use other skills before or while it hits.
