weapon attack

Noob question
What does weapon attack effect on attack? I mean...
I see alot of people hunt wbg @50
while they already have @47
+3weapon attk will make a big different?

not really, but if you have the same weapon twice, you will always pick the one with the higher value.
+3 attack power is almost the same as +1 stat point invested into attack power.
the same goes for def values of armor.
points are scarce and everything counts. why would you use a 12 ATK weapon when you can have 15 ATK one?
the only things that makes people use items with lower values are the extra stats of the equipment and the slots.
if you have a crysta with an effect that is better than +3attack, you will use the lower item with the slot.
and if you are lucky, you can also get a high value item with slot.

also if you prefer gear with certain stats and effects, you will use your equipment much longer before you switch it.
in this case, you always want the version with the highest numbers.
