    I was kinda seeing that many skill trees are being made for Toram and I was like "Why not make my own and see how easy it is to do what Aso does" so thats what I did. I decided to make the weapon skill tree I wanted which were Whip skills and I tried my best to make skills Aso would probably make. I also tried to make it somewhat more balanced than Aso would do, "Balance" and "Asobimo" does not happen. So this is my attempt at it.

    Whips are weapons with lower weapon attack but higher stability and naturally mid range (6m) auto attack. Auto attacks are naturally as fast as 2hsword’s auto attacks are. Damage scales with AGI > DEX.
    Whips as a main weapon can use these sub-weapons: Daggers, Arrows, Magic Devices, Knuckles, Shields
    These weapons can use Whip as a sub weapon: Knuckles, Staffs, Bowgun.

    1. Down Sweep
    Level 1 Skill; Whips Only
    MP Cost
    : 100
    Skill Type - Proration: Physical - Physical Proration
    Base Skill Multiplier: 1 + 0.075 * Skill Level
    Base Skill Constant: 65 + 4 * Skill Level
    Hit Count: 1 hit; splits damage between the number of enemies hit equally
    Maximum Cast Range: Defaults to the Whips's Auto Attack Range
    Hit Range: 4m; around caster
    Ailment: Tumble
    Base Ailment Chance: 20% + (7 * Skill Level)%
    Ailment Duration: 3 seconds
    Ailment Resistance: 3 seconds (Easy and Normal); 6 seconds (Hard); 12 seconds (Nightmare); 18 seconds (Ultimate)
    Game Description: "Draw your whip and strike at the ankles of all the enemies around you. Inflicts [Tumble] on all enemies hit by the attack."

    2. Whiplash
    Level 1 Skill; Whips Only
    MP Cost
    : 100
    Skill Type - Proration: Physical - Physical Proration
    Base Skill Multiplier (First Hit): 0.55
    Base Skill Multiplier (Second Hit): 0.55 + 0.1 * Skill Level
    Base Skill Constant: 2.5 * Skill Level; constant for each hit
    Hit Count: 2 hits; critical calculations are done once then copied for the other hits; the rest of damage calculation is done for each hit
    Maximum Cast Range: Defaults to the Whups's Auto Attack Range
    Skill Effect: Skill has increased motion speed of (Skill Level/2)% rounded down.
    Ailment: Paralyze
    Base Ailment Chance: 50% + (5 * Skill Level)%
    Ailment Duration: 10 seconds
    Ailment Resistance: None
    Game Description: "Quickly snap your whip at the enemy. Inflicts [Paralyze] on the target. The motion speed increases per level."
    This skill is considered an Unsheathe Skill

    3. Trummel Lashings
    Level 2 Skill; Whips Only
    MP Cost
    : 200
    Skill Type - Proration: Physical - Physical Proration
    Base Skill Multiplier: .7 + 0.005 * Skill Level + total AGI/1000; multiplier for each hit
    Multi-hit Bonus Skill Multiplier: 0.05 * Skill Level
    Base Skill Constant: 50; constant for each hit
    Hit Count: Skill Level/2 (rounded down); damage calculation is done once then copied to the other hits
    Maximum Cast Range: Defaults to the Whips's Auto Attack Range
    Skill Effect: If this skill hits a target multiple, the Multi-hit Bonus Skill Multiplier is added to the Base Skill Multiplier every hit.
    Game Description: "Strike the target with many strong whippings. Damage increases as more attacks hit. Attacks more times as the skill levels up."

    4. Nebula
    Level 2 Skill; Whips and One Handed Swords Only
    MP Cost
    : 300
    Skill Type - Proration: Physical - Physical Proration
    Element: Dark
    Base Skill Multiplier: 1 + 0.05 * Skill Level
    Base Skill Constant: 60 + DEX/20 * Skill Level
    Hit Count: 1 hit
    Maximum Cast Range: Defaults to the Whips's Auto Attack Range
    Skill Effect: This skill has +55 Crit rate
    Buff Effect: Critical Damage +(0.5 * Skill Level + total AGI/(60 - Skill Level)); minimum of 1 and maximum of 10
    Buff Duration: until next skill
    Game Description: "Take the whip in your gasp and slash at the enemy as if it were a sword. The skill has boosted critical rate. Increases critical damage for a few seconds."
    This skill is considered an Unsheathe Skill
    Whip bonus: Skill Multiplier +2 and buff timer +20 seconds

    5. Crackling Twister
    Level 3 Skill; Whips Only
    MP Cost
    : 500
    Skill Type - Proration: Physical - Magical Proration
    Base Skill Multiplier: 1 + 0.05 * Skill Level; multiplier for each hit
    Base Skill Constant: 55; constant for each hit
    Hit Count: 2 + Skill Level/2 hits rounded up
    Maximum Cast Range: 12m
    Hit Range: Skill Level/2 round up metres; around caster
    Primary Ailment: Tornado
    Primary Ailment Chance: 100% on mobs; 50% on bosses
    Primary Ailment Duration: 1 second
    Primary Ailment Resistance: 0.001 seconds
    Secondary Ailment: Dizzy
    Secondary Ailment Chance: 2.5% * Skill Level round down
    Secondary Ailment Duration: 10 second
    Secondary Ailment Resistance: None
    Game Description: "Twirl your whip around you quickly causing a violent twister around you. Enemies are pulled around in the small circle for a short time and are afflicted with [Dizzy]."

    6. Twin Dragon Lash
    Level 4 Skill; Whips Only
    MP Cost
    : 700
    Skill Type - Proration: Physical - Physical Proration
    Base Skill Multiplier: 1.35 * Skill Level; multiplier for each hit
    Base Skill Constant: 100; constant for each hit
    Hit Count: 2 hits; damage calculation is done for each hit
    Maximum Cast Range: Defaults to Whip's Auto Attack Range
    Skill Effect: When target is afflicted with an ailment, the skill gains +(55 + Skill Level) Critical Hit Rate
    Game Description: "Brandish your whip and attack the enemy while it’s down. Attack twice with high damage. Has high critical rate when the target is inflicted with an ailment."

    7. Serpentine
    Level 4 Skill; Whips Only
    MP Cost
    : 500
    Skill Type - Proration: Physical - Physical Proration
    Base Skill Multiplier: 0.75 * Skill Level; multiplier for each hit
    Range Bonus Skill Multiplier: 0.5 * meters away from the enemy; multiplier for each hit
    Base Skill Constant: 60 + 1.5 * Skill Level; constant for each hit
    Range Bonus Skill Constant: 10 * meters away from the enemy + Skill Level; constant for each hit
    Hit Count: 4 hits; damage calculation is done once then spread evenly between the hits
    Maximum Cast Range: 10m
    Skill Effect: Skill Multiplier and Skill Constant bonus for every meter away you are from your target
    Ailment: Poison

    Base Ailment Chance: 30% + (2 * Skill Level)%
    Ailment Duration: 10 seconds
    Ailment Resistance: None
    Game Description: "Crack your whip as if it were a violent snake, focusing all the force onto the tip of the lash. Deals more damage the farther away the target is from you. Has a low chance to [Poison] the target."
    This skill is considered an unsheathe skill

    8. Grapple
    Level 1 Skill; No Limit
    MP Cost
    : 200
    Maximum Cast Range: 12m
    Skill Effect: Pulls target closer to you to 3m away from you. Skill will always do 1 damage and is affected by accuracy. Critical hits will make this skill hit more accurately as well but there will be no boost to damage. Skill has perfect aim when the target is paralyzed.
    Ailment: Pull Back

    Base Ailment Chance: 100%
    Ailment Duration: .001 seconds
    Ailment Resistance: None
    Game Description: "Lash out a hook fast enough to wrap around the enemy and pull them closer to you. Range increases as the skill levels up. 100% chance to hit [Paralyzed] targets."

    Base Skill Multiplier (Shackled): 3 + 1 * Skill Level; multiplier for each hit
    Base Skill Constant (Tied): 10 * Skill Level

    Shackled Hit Count: 2 hits; damage calculation is done once then spread evenly between the hits

    Skill Effect: If the buff is removed before the tying animation ends, the skill's ending animation is replaced by an additional attack. The additional attack has the Perfect Aim attribute.
    Buff Effect: Reduce Physical damage and Fractional damage taken by 90%; reduce Magic Damage taken by 65%. If the damage taken would still kill you while you're at 20% of your Max HP or higher, you will live with 1 HP. Negate any ailment associated with the hit of damage reduced.

    : Weapon ATK +(3 * Skill Level)%; ATK +1% (levels 1 and 2)/ +2% (levels 3 to 7)/ +3% (levels 8 to 10). ASPD + 10 * Skill Level * Player Level/45
    Game Description: "Get better at using Whips. ATK and ASPD of Whips increases."

    12. Gentle Footwork
    Level 1 Skill; No Limit
    MP Cost
    : 200
    Buff Effect: Gives a buff that increases ASPD +(40*Skill Level) | ATK +(2*Skill Level) | Movement Speed +(5 * Skill Level)%
    Buff Duration: (15 + Skill Level) seconds
    Game Description: "You are able to use your whip with a quick footing and quicker movements. Increases ASPD, ATK, and movement speed for some time."
    Whip Bonus: buff timer +100 sec, ATK+50, Movement Speed +50%

    13. Monster Slayer
    Level 2 Skill; Whip only
    Passive Effect
    : All attacks and physical skills gain Physical Pierce + Skill Level %
    Game Description: "You’re able to use your whip with full force and finesse. All of your attacks pierce the defense of the enemy."

    14. Dangersense
    Level 3 Skill; No Limit
    MP Cost
    : 400
    Buff Effect: Gives a buff that increases Anticipation +(10 + Skill Level)% | AMPR +Skill Level | and Critical Damage +Skill Level.
    Buff Duration: (15 + Skill Level) seconds
    Game Description: "You’ve fought many enemies to understand their methods. Increase Anticipation, Attack MP Recovery, and Critical Damage for some time."
    Whip Bonus: buff timer +100 sec, AMPR+10, Anticipation+30%, Critical Damage +10

    considering it has a new mechanic that can pull bosses to your location (and i can imagine gesp bugging out)... A flinch+immunity skill... 100% flinch tumble and possibly stun with shield... Its like taking all the good qualities of knux and dw and putting them together

    Dps wise it depends on the weapon...

    i like it all tho i would make the auto attack wayyyy slower, stab higher (90 ish), make the auto attack range 6m, reduce Nebulas crit dmg up to the next move only (instead of a few seconds), make down sweep dmg go down as the number of targets increase, buff serpentine, buff soul grip, slightly nerf gentle footwork in terms of movement speed, and make the atk50+ only apply to whippers and atk +20 for every other class. Very interesting class, would be cool to combine with Dark Energy for a simon belmont vampire hunter type of feel.

    I'll assume that the ATK gain scale is like that of knuckles for the op multipliers... Also I think DEX>AGI and low stability is more realistic...
    Edit: and monster slayer... I mean... how come a whip can pierce even a leather armor?

    A lot of whip combat is Dexterity based, you are right. But a lot of it is movement based as well, and what would probably be more true would be that AGI increases attack power and attack speed as DEX would increase attack power and stability. Whips in itself in reality are very stable weapons when used correctly with the downfall of it having low power. Anyone who is clothed heavily or even Armoured wouldn’t feel a thing.
    A normal attack from a standing whip user is very punishable as it would take a longer time to attack in general, but on a more agile whip user, they become less punishable through the fact the whip is able to move with the body and actually carries momentum with it, it’s why I decided to make it more Agility based. It’s better for whips than a sword since the whip would cover more openings than a simple sword can. Though if you think about it Knuckles should be DEX > STR if we were thinking of only standing fighters.
    For monster slayer, I just put it there as something so whips don’t become extremely useless when faced against anything that has light armour or better. It’s a video game, and we can suspend some reality because even Decoy Shot doesn’t make sense.

    Also about the multipliers, those are closely based off Dragon Tooth, which is only powerful due to its 100% P.Pierce, it has a multiplier of 7.5 between the two hits. This has a multiplier of 13.5 between the two hits - it has no physical pierce and the critical hit rate has a caveat to it, the multiplier is similar to using Garyou Tensei with 8/10 stacks without Two Handed. (For reference, BowKatana does around 700k with Garyou at 10/10)

    You’re right about the attack of the whips though, it’ll be low.

    Wow I just came across this now, while looking for Skill Book information.

    AND!!!

    I fully agree with whip skillset. Early days in Toram I put on here how much I'd love to have a whip class (this was even before they bought out dual wield I thought of this. Mostly because of Secret of Mana is why I loved the concept.
    But you took it a step further. Wow. Well done.

    Many thanks, I'm in college as a game design major so I do stuff like this to practice.
    I spent a decent amount of time just making the icons, and I think they look good enough.

    Pfft I am just happy with my bow,katana,2h,staff and 1hs×2 T^T my storage is also full , my character slots are also making me confused ,why make another weapon skill tree ,some of my weapons are still NPC drops , not even 2s yet ... Having more weapons is kinda scary at the point i୧( ಠ Д ಠ )୨୧( ಠ Д ಠ )୨
