What are the rates for obtaining 1/2 slot equip. when using the blacksmith?

I've been making the limited event items and I'm getting 1 slotted equipment quite frequently. However, a while back I remember trying to farm for an accessory equipment and getting a 1 slot took ages. Was this bad luck or are the chances different for specific items?

I'm also wondering if it's possible to use the blacksmith to make 2 slotted gear. For some reason I have this feeling that 2 slotted gear is only for crafters? Or is it possible to get 2 slots by using the blacksmith? If both are possible, are the rates higher if you craft it clmpared to using the blacksmith?

Thanks for any help in claifying this. I'm starting to realize how important crysta's are. Btw, compared to obtaining a 1 slof equip., in comparisom how rare is obtaining 2 slots?

You can't get 2s items from blacksmith. 2s items are only available through mob drops or player crafted. Obtaining a 2s requires you to be very lucky..
I don't think anybody knows the rates of getting 1s from blacksmith, nor from any other ways.
As far as I know, some event items are guaranteed to have 1s (such as Party glasses).

Well, xtals are important, but you don't need all 2s equips. The only 2s you'll probably need is armor. They don't get outdated often, and the cheapest 2s among armor, additional, and special gear (generally speaking). I myself only have 1s equips and that's more than enough for me.

When making equip., what's the maximum +DEF bonus increase you can get from its base? I think I've seen +8 before but perhaps it's item or crafting-only specfic to get that high?

 

I remember someone get 2s ice hat from event, just the rate is very low.

 

Lots of chickens must have been sacrificed on those days of 2s shaved ice. The cb alone swags quite a number of them. Plus all of them are pure RNG(or else they would cost more than the orb item to make the 2nd slot)

I also love chicken BBQ.

 

I have a friend that has gotten a 2s dia staff from NPC Blacksmith (Zaldo). From crafting experience, my numbers come out to be around 8-12 1s holy robes for every 66-75 crafts (2 stacks of memo - rip my cloth), so likely a 1/6 to 1/8 chance for 1s, while 2s, with my crazy crafting of adv garbs it has flattened out to 1/500 approximately.... even though I haven't gotten any 2s at all in my past ~1500 crafts.

 

Hm, so what I can infer from the previous posts, it is possible to obtain a 2s from the blacksmith, it's just exremely low- perhaps multiple times more than crafting a 2s?

However, both instances mentioned a 2s... that a friend got. So the idea is not to be taken for granted. Had any of them posted a screenshot of such? Even then, it could have been a 2s crafted screen... and then again there's no point in making such a lie...

The crafted screen between player crafted and NPC blacksmith crafted are different. Player crafted results screen will have Potential and Proficiency acquired, while NPC blacksmith doesn't. The picture could've been edited, since it is quite easy to do so.
Also the FAQ in Toram's official website confirms that NPC blacksmiths can only create up to 1s, while players can craft up to 2s.
