So, I was a bit turned off by Toram in the past few days (don't worry I'm returning) because I couldn't reach the level cap on my Knux Dagger because no one takes me at Finstern because of lack of pierce skills or elemental advantage. (And I want to reach 220 before the Miku event ends because apparently, you can get 370+ ATK knux at level cap compared to being at 206 (highest character.)
I tried to see what other MMORPGs are trending, and ones that can run on my college student devices, and I found myself discarding a lot of them, (some due to very heavy requirements), and I really saw that Toram does a lot of nice things compared to other 'recent' MMORPGs.
    • It offers Immersive 3D instead of isometric.
      • This makes you feel as if you are actually in-game, and kinda gives a Minecraft feel. Most importantly, some games I played had walls in such places that you couldn't see isometrically who was standing behind it - even though my character was facing it.
      • Adventure Quest 3D is like Toram but (aside from making my phone heat up) the camera movement is kinda weird. You can lock onto an enemy and strafe left or right and it keeps your face locked onto the target. But while travelling normally the screen doesn't keep rotating when you swipe and hold - so you have to swipe multiple times to move 180 degrees around.
        • Side note: I liked the fact that you can strafe while a skill animation is in progress (start a skill before moving, not vice versa) - you can literally dance clockwise around the enemy while performing skills. Currently, only Floating kick in Toram allows movement during skill animation.
      • Albion looks good even if it is isometric, but I don't like tapping to move - I agree that long time RPG players might be used to using a mouse to move but I really like my WASD. I might try it later, but my PC (or phone) can't handle it.
    • The UI is much cleaner than other 'cheap and being able to run on my phone' games.
      • While Toram's UI may not be the best, it's much simpler and cleaner. If they added a tutorial then it might be much better to use too. The HP bar hides when not in combat, as well as displaying actual numbers so that you can estimate if you will die to an attack or not. The MP is also an upgrade from Iruna to show pellets instead of one continuous bar.
      • The list feature is what I really love. Instead of having a million things on-screen, it's better to open the list and use it.
      • The shortcuts also hide instead of having that annoying 'greyed out lock icon' saying "unlocked at level xx".
      • Some things could use a bit of refining, but even the menus buttons are straightforward and clean and don't have unnecessary bearded characters or sexualized women to 'help' you forge or craft or fuse or something.
        • PvP and open world might make it difficult to access inventory in the wild, but we should have a toggleable feature where your inventory closes if you get attacked.
      • I was elated to find out I can turn off the damage numbers, and make Storm fade out while farming mobs!
    • No continuous 'EXCLUSIVE DEALS! spamming'
      • It shows up in a reserved manner when you open the game, without any graphics or bling, and you can just switch to 'Important' to ignore those.
      • It shows ONCE more when you open Potum darts. No other time I get random popup messages saying there's an exclusive deal going on. I am really glad about that.
    • The colors are rather lively and warm for most maps.
      • AQ3D left a rather sour impression on its color saturation, it feels like those old RPG games, yes, but it doesn't feel as warm as Toram. I haven't played it much, but the first impression was rather weak.
      • Other games like BDO are too pop and color intensive and make my phone as hot as a toaster, and don't even run on my phone.
    • Toram Online actually runs on my phone.
      • My phone is by no means a flagship or a mid-tier, it's like a high entry-level smartphone, and it has enough to run Toram for maybe the next year or so before Toram heightens its requirements.
      • I was able to get the 5-hour continuous emblem without getting the phone too hot and did that on a SINGLE charge.
      • Let's hope I get a better phone next year...
    • Chat types are separated by color instead of different tabs so you can see all the happenings at once, and also you can change these colors if you are colorblind to certain colors!
What stuff about TORAM do you like that isn't in most MMORPGs?

The ability to customize your equipment is the feature I like the most. Before playing Toram, I always hate being stuck in an ugly armor just because it has the best stats :p

For me the things that are lacking about Toram is a kind of a competitive feature and a daily event to make players more active or arouse their interest.

Customizable character skill builds and equipment. Would be great though if some theme park aspects are removed and events are actually good, not some copy paste crap.

Customization, beats out pretty much every other game right now, including some console games.
Weapon diversity, and therefore playstyle is also better than most Mobile MMO.

Only other game I played recently that lets you customize your Armor/Weapons to look however you like, and color them, is Elder Scrolls Online!?
For me, that's saying something great about Toram, that other RPG games are lacking greatly.

    1) character customization
    2) freedom of skill and weapon choice that sadly might get you not liked by meta follower on first sight
    3) can run with minimum lag (internet lag not count)
    4) nice graphic style that isnt too over the top like those doll like graphic style mmorpg.

    Character customization.

Toram is one of the best out right now given how it incorporates customization beyond the game character creation and goes onto the game itself and throughout it maintains it.

Although I really hate Toram's "often relying to real-life luck", I love these features:

-You don't need real-life money to be stronger.

-NPC gears can be as powerful as Player-made/statted equipments, or even stronger.

-Free Orb items just by logging in often or doing event stuffs.

-Avatar stats. These are heartwarming if I got a shiny star. Also, it can save millions of spinas with the right decisions.

    -Pets (can be frustrating sometimes).

-Graphics, but may burn my 2GB RAM phone with a few more updates.

-Lots of players (approx. 70% of people I encountered are kind to me).

-Trains your decision-making. Commit a mistake, it will cost you a lot in the future such as IGN, Skill/Stat builds, and ideal item stats so people will probably "learn from their mistakes".

-Consumables/Holy Gems are only OPTIONAL (the game doesn't force you to eat something like a magical apple to defeat a malnourished dragon if you have decent gears).

-Offensive Mage Staff weapon class is HARD. This made me continue playing the game like "I will achieve that Power Wave skill so that I won't be hitting mobs with a mere stick anymore".

Some of the prev. posts already mentioned some of the things I also liked so I won't repeat them.

Toram just needs to make an auto farm option for everyone on mobs and then start selling weapon apps and armor apps in the orb shop to weed out the indo bot invasion. Once everyone can auto farm mobs the bots will start dying and if people want fancy apps for weapons or armors but don't want to support the game then they can buy from people who spent real money and supported the game who sell their apps on cb and it'll boost the market up substantially.
And as for xtal modders asobimo should start making future bosses and mini bosses like venena 2,
Where there are additional mobs part of the boss fight that are capable of one shotting or two shotting us and the only way to negate them is by manually evading or moving out the way from there attacks or using a particular skill or ailment to kill them.
Everything I said has nothing to do with your thread title but I'll start liking toram again, a game I once loved, when the gay cheaters that made me feel nothing for game and quit gets fixed and purged.

    1: customization

Albion fucks my phone hard, Albion is PVP intensive and playing on phone is the worst thing you can do. The reason I'm coming back coz, like you, Toram can run smoothly on my device unlike Albion

Yeah terrible options I gave, need everything easy or everyone going to complain and revolt against a more challenging change like the new combo system that didn't cater to the cheaters and then start giving death threats while chanting wkwkwk and nooo,
but to me anything to kill cheats in this game I'll take and feel very satisfied watching them die, just a pipe dream though sadly, toram is 100% more likely to die from them.
Hopefully there will be a departure from toram in the future and a new game that has better stipulations against pathetic bots, rmt and mods where Suzuki doesn't make a shop in a Guild bar to cater to them,
He may aswell make auto farm for everyone then so it's fair or wait that's a no, then the cheaters can't compete or sell :(
Also apparently downloads makes more money, makes sense with this new miku event with the indo add me army back at it abusing the orb rewards.

Anyway maybe all this cheating is what makes toram and you all enjoy the shit market prices making farming a waste of a time for most people bcoz nooo, change is bad, easy is good and cheaper rmt is even better even though it's making spending money on the orb shop futile, you know the people who spend and keep the game going but nooo.
    *meanwhile game dies so nooooo*

He said no to this. No one needs an auto farm option. Auto in any MMORPG is absolutely hated by all players. People don't come to Toram because they think that it's Auto Attack (blame the tutorial) and we don't want to drive even more players away with auto Mob killing.
Have you been reading this thread? Almost everyone here gave 'ability to customize your character' as one of the primary reasons to play ToramOnline. You cannot just take one of the more distinguishing features of Toram - ability to customize without premium.
Toram Online is a Mobile game. People play this because of the ability to do stuff without paying. If the good content is locked behind paywalls then no one will play Toram, because it doesn't have a lot of other stuff going for it, like not being available on PC, not having open world and no PVP.
Besides, do you know that stuff called as Gemruns, Piercers, Prime Piercers, Extraction crystas exist? People who support the game gacha these things and then it's available to any player - even ones who don't spend money on this game.
There are bosses, like Guignol, Baphomela, Also, your idea just makes The Tank - Bow meta even more solidified, and leaves little room for other classes.
Toram should instead focus on not having bossfights but rather dungeons, and I don't mean 'defend the caste' type, but more like 'infiltrate the castle' type. It's like Guild Mazes but within the main story and bosses and with good rewards.
There are currently very little 'defeat all enemies to go to the next area' dungeons. This will also counter bots because now you need an actual competent party to complete a dungeon and actually get some worthwhile rewards.

Auto element in any mmorpg, even something simple like auto pathing severely takes away from game immersion.

We don't need another auto game. AFK Arena handles this already along with summoners war and many other auto idle games. This also isn't the thread to discuss problems.

auto farm would just cut the need for auto clicker / macro of bot. it would increase them instead of the opposite
