I bought a Perro that's Bow/Genius/Sturdy and I want to turn him into a damage dealer. I've read I need to place points in DEX since he's Bow, what should my first skill be?

Also, what should I feed him while I train him? Should I get his affinity up to 100% before training?
    Thank you

he's bow user which means oviously dex and vit .... And it's actually up to you ! If you need buff from ur pet or support X.X because it's long-range it should be good for support and bow class is quite bad at damage to mobs and bosses '-' so I will recommend to make it support type rather than damage type pet ! Still all is up to you! ^_^ Good luck

For tank and damage dealer pets I will only recommend you 2h,staff, kuckle or md ! And you can only choose the first skill with 100% successful rate "-" and others skills are can be obtained after combining 2× max level pets and if you're having pet for boss aggro '-' idk.... It's kinda depends on your haha -aggro(food,xtal,eqip etc) QwQ good luck friend on leveling it oof

I'm still stuck on choosing a skill. For the first skill which one causes the most damage. I'm still going to make him a damage dealer. I can't find any in depth information anywhere as to what the skills do/how much damage etc. All youtube videos and guides just say the same vague thing that in game says.

magic pet is the most consistent if you want a dps pet since magic skills dont miss... with weapon bow/knux/staff/md... Any trait works... And last you need a pet with skill boost (i'm not sure if it has 1.5 or 2 mutiplier but the point is it adds a lot of dmg to the pets skills)

Of course you need to pump all stats to int, but adding a bit of vit does not hurt...

there is no formula discovered yet for pet skills so no one knows wich one is does the biggest dmg...

And if you want a pet that does a lot of dmg you need to merge your pet a lot...

Those yt vids says vague things cuz theyre giving a bit of leeway for customizability, everyone is still on the testing phase in regards to pets, so just pick whatever you like and build your own pet, who knows you might get a better combination than whats stated...

For the best physical DPS skill, you need Raging Blow, which is on the top left of the pet skill tree. Good luck, and I hope you land it.

Otherwise, i might suggest to pick up another pet (with good wep+nature+trait) and keep trying til you get Raging lvl 4+ (any less you and it'll be really long/tedius to max it out at level 10).

Once you have a lvl 10 Raging Blow, you can always fuse it back into a Perro so you have a doggo with the strongest (physical) DPS skill

FYI(1) here's a guy who has the pet skill maxed:
But his pet is 2h and he went all STR with it (which is probably a lot stronger on a lucky crit due to all that extra cdmg).
For Bow pet, DEX will give higher atk, and a lot more accuracy too (which is a big weaknesss of physical pet dps, as its prone to missing...)
Note, there's no way now to boost a pet's crit so crits can't be guaranteed (unlike for players with crit gear)

FYI(2) Here's my own dex DPS pet https://toramonline.com/index.php?threads/holy-quartet-of-dps-pet-skills.47612/:rolleyes:

FYI(3) Once you have lvl 10 Raging, on a high DEX pet, your next problem may be keeping the pet alive since it may not have high HP to withstand all (boss) attacks. (There's nothing worse than bringing a pure petmeister build into boss battle to support your pet, and then your pet dies on you RIP )

Well TBH it's kinda feel good to have a virtual world house and pets but tbh it's better to go on a strong and expensive xtal boss with full party of adventures rather then soloing with pets :v ,well everyone have there own game play ways ... Wish my pet could have a storm skill XD ,I actually don't see too many people farming tasty honeys now days, all is busy with there ROM event , Halloween event... Me feels quiet lonely

When every pt member can bring out their own pet, you may wish you had put more time into powering up your own pet... maybe :D
