depend on leveling as smith very hard to leveling, recommend reach lv 150 first then we can start build smith, mage smith is easiest to leveling

I totally advise against making a utility character as your first character. Make a class you have fun playing and get to know the game better. Do gem runs and what not to earn money and if you feel like it you can create a BS later. I play Toram for many many years already and the only utility char I have is a synthesist to dye my equipment....

find out what you like most,
and play that, no matter what.

you don't need a blacksmith and you don't need to be rich.
bots and RMTs will always be richer than you.
blacksmiths are meta now (ew...), so everyone has one, everyone makes their own gear, no one wants to buy what you make.
if you can make something, that is...
the current "op" statted weapons are made at lv200. the NPC equipment is nearing lv180.
compare regular equipment with the stuff made by lv180 crafters (without tier 4 skills), and they won't be so great anymore.

I absolutely recommend building your main character up first instead. It is simple logic. The main character will be what you will be playing the most. Next is a farmer character.

Those two alone are essential in being able to self sustain. After that comes other builds. Blacksmiths, even though immediately suggested by other players are not exactly that easy to do especially if you are alone and without strong friends and party members.

Blacksmiths need to level up two things: character level and proficiency level. Character level is easy, but profile level will require you to do either or both of the following:
    •Material Farming
    •Buying materials

Yeah, about that... material farming sucks if there are no parties in the area you need. As for buying materials, it requires crapton amount of spina and low level materials are not in demand, which makes them a rare find in the market and in turn make them expensive. That's why I recommend building a farmer after a main character.

Forget about earning spina by crafting.
Forget about earning spina by statting.
Throw those thoughts out of the window for now.
Find which play style suits you the most. Improve on it. You'll get the funds while at it. And then talk about making a utility character.

I have 17 slots for all my needs which enables me to chill af aside from leveling. Leveling the blacksmiths sucks.

This is so true so I’ll add to this post, tbh you’ll make more money with a strong dps/tank than a bs atm, in my experience especially with how the cb market is, I make more money selling boss mats than crafting and stating, even though I can stat +20 the problem is the market is saturated. Unlike arms and wepons which are one time purchase consumables like boss mats will always be in demand, the stronger your player the better the drops hence the more money you can make faster. Not to mention you get to enjoy the game by actually playing it, refining isn’t fun not one but frustrating more like it. But grinding a boss and figuring out its pattern as a team is waay more fun than endless attempts watching an item degrade consuming material you possibly bought at a premium price. So dps all the way , after that you can consider what route u wanna go.

I personally suggest capping a dps or tank then start with a blacksmith. Blacksmith only earns if you farmed the materials yourself. If not you will find yourself spending more than the earned amount.
