    My halberd got 9k HP still dies from 2 javelins on ex arena bexiz or from 3 tomatoes at tapir.
    Resistance > HP

    Yep thats why I dont need it very high, removed ico from armor and added ifrid instead to get 2k mp and 40ampr, only got 7k HP now still good enough. If I know I cant dodge I would never rely on high HP either way.
    You are a shield mage you should know the importance of resistance tbh.
    Do you use protection and aegis? Lvl10?

    I'd say the monocle is the best, personally. The curled horns are pretty good, but tbh +4% stability isn't as good when compared to the monocle's stats.

    Curled horns has 8% stab, but i think its the npc version

    For me I hold onto the fox ears for fire resistance. Other than that I switch up between monocle and Dark hood.
