What's the highest damage reduction possible ?

A fun post. What's the maximum reduction in damage you can do with all the stuff that can reduce damage?

• Now, Perfect Defense and Zantei are disallowed.
• Guard also unallowed since you can't active cast a skill.
• No invincibility frames.
• Of course, we have to try for all three types of damage, Magical, Physical and Fractionals.

Lets begin:

• Ghoulfish War Hammer + Shield
• (Should we use Prism ring MD here?)
  • Nope, can't use shield skills then.
• Lil Empress Garb Boss drop
• Circle of Order
• Yashiro Azuki's Mom
• Seele Zauga
• Dark Talisman (Resist)
• Gingko Nut rice

We have the latest crysta, so we'll talk about Element specific Resistance later. We'll just focus on a standard Neutral Physical/Magical attack.

• + S refine on All 3 gear.
• Physical and Magical shield
• Aegis/Protection whatever applies
• Knuckles Chakra buff
• Sanctuary buff
• Guardian buff
• GodHand skill with Tough tag.

Does Parry activate during another skill's animation?

I'm too sleepy to calculate the exact reduction, will do that tomorrow.

 

Wait can you even activate godhand when staff is on your main weapon?

Also chakra dmg reduc would have a nerf cuz no knux equipped right?

then add pet skill cover lvl10 for another 45% damage reduction and resist up 25% buff resist as long as pet alive

 

Ah I was just listing all possible ways of damage reduction.
We can now see what gives the highest possible.
Knux + Chakra + GodHand
OR
Staff + Resistance

 

Resist Up can provide 35% P. & M. resist at lv10 + red arrow up.

 

My money is on the Staff+Resistance
It's more practical imo

Staff just cast protection and aegis, and then will carry everything with it. Unlike knux who has to recast chakra and godhand all the time

 

There’s also the lethargy ailment which reduced the enemy’s damage by I think 50%?(I don’t remember sorry if that’s wrong...) as well as charming dance from dancer skills which reduces the enemy’s stability according to the number of stacks.
