When can we expect new gears gen to come out?

4th Anniv gears have been around 6 months already (since July)... I want to upgrade my old gear to FC20 & Ele but seeing that it has been half a year since the 4th annive come out. Do u think the Dev. will add more better gear in a new few months? Should i wait or should I just upgrade now.

 

Last year the 3rd Anniv gear was replaced in about 1 or 2 months by Lil Empress gear. Venena was already a boss by then. Ie if they're going to release player statable gears then they would be from present bosses. They also just released a few new gears recently so idk if they will release anything in the near future. You should keep the idea that they might do something like high atk event gear for new year's in the back of your mind tho.

Tldr probably wait a few weeks to see if there's any sign of new year releases, and if there isn't, you should update.

The recent events weapons are near some 4th anniv weapons' base atk/pot, so in next months they may release weapons a bit more stronger than 4th anniv, but you'll question yourself again: Should I change or wait 5th anniv? And will keep doing a similar question over and over again. IMO, any new craft won't be a heavy difference to 4th anniv weapons, besides some statting restrictions due them having lower potential than newer crafted weapons.

 

The only advantage 4th anniv weapons have atm is because of its weapon attack. Newer recipes which might be at -15 to - 20 weapon attack compared to 4th has higher potentials tho.

4th anniv will still be good for few months starting from now(2-4 months). Nothing's wrong of buying one or upgrading your gears now if you are confident enough to return the amount as to what you invest during that time period until a new powerful one occurs.

 

Ahh coz the 5th anniv will come next July?
I doubt that I can get any return investment on my gear though ;^;

 

with the exception of hell reapers,4th anniv weaps are still on top of the dmg tier.

the case of 3rd anniversary weapon being evenly matched by venena weaps is because venena herself is one of the main boss that affects the storyline greatly.

you should see that in about 3 - 4 months then another full batch of more powerful weaps comes out.
