Why is alchemia story unpopular?

The maps are well populated but outside the game, the players are nowhere to be seen. The game seems decent and I might prefer it to Toram

Also where are the forums or community chats for that game?

 

can't speak for anyone else but imo the game doesn't seem very much different from many other mmo games i've seen. also the translations seem wonky, at least at the beginning. i do see the appeal though but it's not for me.

By transition did you mean the download times? Most of the time is spent downloading voices and you can disable it. There are also many cool settings ranging from visual, ui, audio, log and others that you can customise.

nono i didn't say "transition", i said "translation". as in, the english is pretty odd. and yeah those customisable stuff are cool. i also like the classes, and though i never actually got around to trying it, i know there's pvp and that's something interesting considering toram doesn't have it (yet anyway). definitely a decent game. but the gameplay just doesn't feel fresh to me.

 

Oh, I see. The translations seem decent to me, perhaps they updated them? If you meant the skill descriptions, I haven't checked most of them since I'm new. YOME actually means bride in Japanese, I haven't seen any mobile mmorpg with a dedicated partner character that does things with you. Alchemia is also classless to some extent, some say that the balancing is better than Toram

 

ive been playing the game for some time and still playing it(there is a discord server btw)

• first off, getting good armor with decent amount of LB is p2w but getting the best weapons in the game isnt p2w... or rather everyone needs to farm the parts really hard regardless of how much money u throw at the game unless you are aiming for that one specific lotto banner to appear
• getting your mounts to a decent lvl is p2w too(if you try to do it the f2p way it will literally take many months to limit break once)
• pvp is not really pvp, its just duel with another player with no rewards(tho i hope toram's upcomming pvp will be like that so it wont become a 'who-has-better-gear' scenario
• the skill effects look cool
• there are dungeon-1st-time-clear-per-day 2x exp boost events that happen occasionally(like around once per mth i think) so sometimes clearing each party dungeon once per day(during the event period) is enough exp for your job if you dont feel like grinding
• the game lets you leech off other player in battles so its a double edge sword
• one of the towns in the game has earr#pe music
• housing system here is better than toram imo

personally im playing it for their housing system and im just waiting for the t3 ver. of a job and depending whether or not its a letdown determines whether i will stay in the game after that or not

 

Is the autocombat sufficient to not require much attention when grinding levels and stuff?

Also, I hate those games where the skills are placed at the side (wheel). It blocks the camera/swiping and looks ugly. Do you know of any f2p mmorpgs that don't do that?

 

if the bobbing arrow over the target crosses over the target name and you press a skill, it WILL be a crit so its really easy to do 100% crit all the time if u just time it right since the game mostly doesnt have crit rate mechanics except a few skills but there are factors that involve the crit timing judgement( if u play rhythm games u will know what i mean) and the speed of the bobbing arrow that is dependent on the weapon u are using

 

so the combat is easy enough that you can play it while being distracted?

 

if by that you mean mobs in high player density areas with op people around and hoping to get carried or if u have strong aoe skill for those mobs, yes BUT not for bosses as some of them can easily one shot the whole pt doing 99999 dmg if u press a wrong skill
and i dont think timing the crit would be considered distracted cuz u still have to look at ur screen half of the time and waiting for skill chargeup time before u press the skill

 

Don't prefer battle style and translations are awful. And most importantly, its a gacha game.
