Why windows 10 only??

Found this game a few days ago on mobile and I'm enjoying it so far, but just now tried getting the PC client and was met with an extremely unpleasant notice that I could not play unless running windows 10. This isn't the first and certainly won't be the last game I dump due to this kind of thing. I understand not officially supporting the game on an older OS, but not even letting people try to run it is a low blow. From my experience I'm able to perfectly run literally ANY windows 10 "required" game as long as I'm given the chance to do so despite the lack of support from developers.

Please consider not locking players out just because they don't want an OS that behaves like a virus. I'd be fine if it simply doesn't work properly, but not even allowing me to try feels cheap and disappointing.

 

try playing with some settings. there's games here and there that'll say you need this/that but turns out you can just play with some configs and get it runnning.
