So i just hit 30 level on my magician and I'm kinda stucked now, cuz i planned to visit a library and just level up my skills (i've been even saving points for that) and when i finally got to it, the guy want's 1000 spina from me and i have just around 300 - 400, not sure now, so i decided to look for some farming spot video for 30 level and i really found one but i just wanted to ask, because i've got quite a lot questions on my mind and it keeps bothering me.
So for starters, i always wanted to play something kinda supportish, but able to play on my own too and i have no idea what build should i go for, could anyone point me to some direction?
How's it with the guilds? do i have any chance of beign accepted into one before i reach the maximum level? Is there even a reason to join one before i hit the maximum?
In the endgame on the maximum level, is there a need to farm for long periods often? Because farming based gameplay is really a big turn off for me and i hate it.

Are there builds that are really not viable and i should beware of them?

Are proffesions essential? Or am i able to get around without them just well? Proffesions were always kinda boring element of every mmo, but if they are usefull enough i'll might reconsider it.

What is the value of an orb? is it worth to spend only on something specific, or am i free to go wild? (i do not prefer the latter, i'm gonna have regrets ._.)

What becomes the main activity/activities after hitting the maximum level?

What should i do with these items? i get that these are proffesions material, but i got really full inventory and even bank now that i desposited them into bank, should i try to save them, look for more and do proffesions or sell them? Screenshot_2016-01-03-00-40-00.png Screenshot_2016-01-03-00-40-06.png
I got what are those crystals for, but i don't really know their value, should i save them for harder times or spend them as much as i can because oterwise the'll just lay in my bag forever?
Maybe i'll remember something yet, but that might be it for now, hopefully this thread can help other newbies and i'll be grateful for any answers!

    Hello! Welcome!

You could have a support Mage character and a DPS Mage character(to solo)

Currently a support mage is not really needed as there are Hunters that just keep sniping for fast boss runs

There is a reason to join, making new friends and joining farming parties are easier and there are sometimes freebies ^_^
I dont think you need to farm long periods unless you want something from the mob... and most time you would spend farming is to push your character to the level cap as soon as possible

Professions are there if you want to make a big ton of spina, but you need to spend a lot of effort as well. There are mainly BS(Blacksmith, self explanitory) and Alchemists(which makes potions which are cheaper than the oned NPC sells). Between the both of them being an Alchemist is easier.

Value of an orb.... hmm. I think i would use it to buy more characters rather than buy avatar chests. I regret my decision because i went wild on the avatar chests and there are a limited amount they will hand out to you.. unless you pay...

Make another new character, farm bosses, try out skill builds, just hanging around...

Wow this is long. Welcome and here are some tips.

1.) My Mage/Supporter build can farm well, Tank a bit, does a good amount of damage, and is also a luck character. If you want to know it I'll pm you. Just tell me if you want. Supporters aren't really needed yet in game but eh.

2.) You have a chance to get into a guild before reaching cap lvl, but the guild itself might not be one that you would like to stay in.

3.) For endgame if you mean by storyline then it's optional to farm. Farming can make you richer in spina or in items.

4.) There aren't really builds you should beware of ( except troll ones like my Goku build XD )

5.) I don't completely get what you mean by profession.

6.) Value of a orb hmm... The only good they have are for Character slots, more storages, and avatars. I would waste to much money of em. especially Avatars. Those are real money makers for the company. The new avatar set Camellia is so hard not to spend money. Same goes for Horned Dragon.

7.) After Hitting max lvl the main thing to do is farm and earn money. Simple and clean stuff.

8.) Tell me all those items and I can tell you if you should sell them or not.

    welcome =(^.^)=

    about guilds:
some high class guilds only accept high level players, some accept anyone and some specifically search for newbies.
there are a lot more guilds around then the few visible on the forums.
i am in "Green Leaf", it's new and i happened to meets the leader in a random party when i farmed the Dragon boss.
the guild is new and still growing, our levels are ~30-50.

    about farming:
if you want something, you have to farm it or buy it, but to buy you need money and to get money you have to do 3 quests a day for 1000 and farm to sell it for more money. the trick is not to farm, but to choose an enemy that is "fun to fight". then it's more like fun fighting than farming.

    about builds:
you can build anything. the only bad thing to do is to learn weapon skills for weapons that you don't have. (like using sword skills without a sword)
another thing is to use the wrong stats, although i wouldn't say "wrong" here because every stat has an effect on many visible and invisible things and there is a good use for everything. you just have to use it.

    about professions:
you can learn smith and synthesis skills. but it takes effort to raise the skill level so that you can actually make something good. the guides here say that you should make an extra character specifically for those professions, but the game design also allows you to be a strong warrior and still be able to craft something. it will just be slower than a dedicated production character. since the modern games no longer stop at Lv100, you will be able to use crafting skills and all the battle skills you want, it just takes time to get this far.

    about orbs:
orbs are mega ultra valuable. you get a limited amount from the emblem rewards and can slowly collect them from the dayly log-in reward. otherwise they cost real money. you can use them to buy extra fashion items for your character or special items to make life easier. but if you don't plan to buy them, it is best to use them wisely. i used mine to expand my bag space, so that i can carry more items. (when you use multiple characters with different equipment, you have to carry it all in your bag at all times.)
the dayly log-in reward gives you 5x 5 random rewards per moth for consecutive log-ins. after that you get orb shards (100 make 1 orb).
but this month i didn't get any because i missed out 1 day and had to restart the last count.

    about the main activity:
if there is nothing to do, you can stock up on supportive items to prepare for the next update or collect the rare dye items to customize your equipment.

what should you do with those items:

items can be sold or processed into materials (medicine, cloth, metal, beast, mana). materials are needed for crafting along with recipe specific items.
if you don't need certain materials or already have enough, money is always the better option.
items dropped by bosses are harder to get and often needed to craft certain equipment, so better save them in your storage at the general store in sofya.
some items are also needed for quests and can be sold to other players.
currently Nisel Wood and Bitter Nuts are the most wanted, because they are needed for the latest EXP reward quests.

    about the crystals:
you get a bunch of them in the beginning, but after that you have to buy them for high prices.
they can only be used in boss battles and grant you a little bonus effect.
save them for difficult bosses, using them up goes faster than buying new ones.

Thank you guys for replies, the game seems to be really nice, except the game content after hitting max level, that's something i care a lot about and also why i stopped playing multiple pc mmos, because i had nothing that entertaining to do, I'm afraid i just don't wanna constantly prepare for next update or farm items, i wan't to try multiple dungeons and raids on various difficulties, do events (not farming ones tho), some pvp wouldn't hurt either. It's shame because i was really loving this game in terms of gameplay and class system and visuals.
Thanks once again for your time.

it's not like you will hit max level after 1 month of playing.
by the time you get there the next update may be here.
and Toram is a very new game, they just finished the beta-testing, so there is a lot of development ahead. you can't compare it to other games that existed for multiple years.

the guild labyrinth is a dungeon with 1000 floors. boss monsters can appear like normal monsters do, so you definitely need the help of your guild members to fight on the higher floors. it is almost like a raid event and there is a video of the japanese version where they have a real raid event with a world boss and stuff.
PvP will not happen, but it is confrmed that we will get pets in one of the next updates.

and if your only joy is to grind to the max level, you can always reset your characters.

Welcome to the family! For guild, there are plenty out there that don't mind recruit newbie. But some guild need high end members. If you don't do farming then u need to make something to sell, like make armor or weapon. Orbs will make the gameplay easier and ofc make your char more gorgeous.

I wont? seemed like the leveling is not that slow.
Well i don't think i'll like other android mmos better than this so i guess i'll get back to Toram eventually but not yet i guess.
Finished beta testing means it's complete game now and that should mean that most of the content is already there and it should already look by the vision of the developers, correct me if i'm wrong but one gotta be really optimistic to believe that updates will bring that much bigger depth to the game and basically redo the style of the game completely with it.
Well excuse me now but what the hell is reseting my characters good for? why do i do them then in the first place? There sure are games with better gameplay and story than mmorpgs in general, i just like the idea of getting better with my one character and the possibility to meet with other players, eventually i make a bond with my character and i'm kinda proud of it and it's kinda like tamagotchi and then i should reset it? I need at least a little bit of purpose for my actions and well leveling my character just to delete it later... i think not.
Sure, pets would be nice tho...
Now, sorry for my skepticism, but i'm trying to be careful what do i spend my time on, i am really thankful for all answers
