    Gonna change it later
since the mt is up, and i cant do maze, i decide to help junior maze runners instead. im not really good at doing maze. i only do 200 floors per day without refilling, with the sailing speed of around 1.75 hours per 100 floors. nevertheless i think its quite above the average.

what you are about to read is not:
    • maze drop's guide
    • how to profit from maze
    • how to have fun in maze
    • perfect english
you can find that guide somewhere else, what you are about to read is a guide on how to survive the first 10 days of the month and high speed maze running. both of them detemine wheter you are going to reach 1k floor within the first 3 days of the month soloing the maze without refilling or not. lets jump to the first point

surviving in the first 10 days in maze is quite hard for new people, most of players can only reach the 300th floor and some manage to reach 600th floor.
the mobs are thick and the boss? dont ask me, ask your level 1 character. you need 200k dmg to one shot them. even with that amount of dmg some still survive and retaliate. so to survive the maze you would need to improve these:

    offense
as someone that i dont know says " the best defense is a good offense". isnt that obvious? for me personally, reaching 1k atk stat is a must for my maze builds. this can easily be achieved with 2hs(+3/str), bow(+3/dex), halberd, bowgun(+4/dex). this means reaching 180+ lvel on your other character is important. if you wanna use other types of weapon, you can still reach 1k atk with +A/S refinement.

besides atk stat, crit rate is really important aswell, and thats obvious af and i dont think i need to explain why beside to counter death colon broken dodge rate . to achive 100% crit rate, you can either use drop weapons that gives you tons of crit rates (orion katana, carbulance edge, or hell reaper) or just use xtalls+equipment+food to boost it up to 100%.

the third one is Atk speed, "another obvious one eh? can someone tell this captain obvious to fock off?" atk speed isnt really an offense stat, it contributes more into mazerunning's speed. but ill put it here instead. atk speed & ampr is really important for me. instead of using skills and mp charge which would take time like forever especially in " room full of monsters", i can just do a couple of fast normal atks and refill my mp while doing it. mp charge sounds neat bcause you can use it anytime right? not at all, you are boned if you try to do mp charge while getting chased by arcoiris/shining getleman/masked warrior. my ampr is 62, but 50 is already a good number, combining it with 1k atk speed all i can say is ️Bruh. how to achive this? ampr food will gives you around 18 or more, i use xtals and avatar's ampr to fill the rest. for atk speed, you can get 1k from droped weapons, timewarp, or volgagon. alternatively, yoh can use potions instead if you are the bill gates of toram.

and the fourth one is optional but realy important, Anticipate%. most of the time, you wont gonna need this in maze, but once you meet Shinning gentleman, i can assure you, that most likely you are going to lose alot of revitas/ebs or dead. shinning gentleman's evasion rate is stupid. im currently at 27% and planning on increasing it to 33%+ 1/3 is far better than 1/4. you can ignore this one if you arent in a rush to get to 1k and completely fine with waithing hours for your energy to be refilled.

    Choosing skills
this is prolly the most important one. if you try to do some damage test on lv1 character with only 100 stats and 35 skill points, youll start to notice that all spamable skills dmg is shit. famous skills like tenryu ransei and dragon tooth lose their dmg/mpcost effectiveness. most of spamable skills require tons of investment on skill points and atk stat. thats exactly what a lv 1 character doesnt have. thats why most of maze runner use cross fire. its the most practical skill compared to other popular skills.

    Defense
its pretty straight foward, having 3k of hp would save you from mobs one hitting you with their normal atk. this one is pretty suprising right? who would have though that having more hp would gives you better chance of surviving. to achive this you can either use hp+ equipment, xtalls, or food buffs. additionally you can use vita plus, but id rather spend on items instead of potions so i dont recommend this unless you are somehow fill your food buffs with anything except hp+

additional things if you are dedicated to do this, is getting Barriers. yes, im talking about that useless magic barriers and phisical barriers. i personally use zahhak machima on weapon to gain both ampr and barriers. this xtalls help me to climbs 1-600+ without using any healing potions.

    Choosing your enemies
if you havent notice yet, all the mobs in the maze isnt equal. some of them is really easy to kill, while the other could end your run within second. even if you are running on level 1 character, all the mobs gain strength the deeper you are in to the maze. eventually one of them become deadly. the easiest way to determine which one is deadly and which one is easy peasy is by comparing them with their open world counter part. this is usually work like a charm but sometimes dont. here is the example; stone knight which is only level 29, is stronger compared to gob roga which is level 48. this is mostly because of stone knight's high mobility and fast attack speed. knowing your enemies is really important to know which one will become strongger in the deeper level of the maze. spamming your skills on normal mobs is okay, aslong you are doing it to make you sail the maze safer and faster. one shotting dangerous normal mobs is one of the main important things to do while doing maze. orc warrior, soda potum, billy, and stone knight are troublesome for me, they are really thick except stone knight and hit quite hard. and for bosses, for me personally are Shinning gentleman and Arcoiris, but i suggest becareful to giant boar, death colon, masked warrior, moonlight potum, and violacoon aswell. whats that? thats almost all of them? yes most of them is really dangerous if you cant one shot them. some of them have a really high mobility, some of them have a really high survivalbility.

    Mp management
this one is simple, you need to save your mp as much as possible before entering all the floor that ends with 3,6,9 and 0. theres a chance for 2 boss blocking your path in all the level that ends with 3,6, and 9. and for 0 there is 100% a single boss guarding the next portal.

soo now surviving the maze is not your problem anymore. and now for maze running speed. heres how you can improve your speed:
    1.skipping floors
this is the most popular way to quickly get into the farming floor(900+). as you have read in many other maze guide, you should skip all other floors that isnt 900+.

    2.using melee
if you want to speed run the maze, melee is your best choice. shukuchi can significantly reduce the time of traveling in maze. while every class can use shukuchi, melee weapons benefit the most from it, because they reduce the distance from 24m to 1m. thats 23m with highspeed, it d be 20m if you were using halberd and 14m if you were using bow. but there is a down side to this. melee user is in range within mobs atks, this means you are trading your safety for traveling speed. i only recommend using shukuchi until 400th floor, unless you are the bill gates of toram you probably can make a dedicated full 2s+S equipments that can use shukuchi safely to the 1k th floor.

    3. dead guild mate
this one can cut your run speed significantly too, having a member that have access to the full map is really helpful to sail as fast as you can. but nobody want to be in this postion soo....

    4. minimap
minimap only reveal the path that you have taken. yes this is useful, especially if you can see both the entrance portal and the next portal... oh wait, you can! set your minimap size to 100%. this will allow you to see the whole map within the map circle. you can see the next maze portal that is glowing green in the minimap. this is really useful for solo runners. without this, i prolly cant go through each floor in just 1 min.

    5. Running with party
running with party will increase both your survival rate and sailing speed. but sadly this one is the hardest one to get. most of people doesnt like running around the maze. finding someone that want to be your maze partner is prolly the best thing you can get in toram.

    6. Cheater!
this isnt actually cheating, this is a feature. by disconnecting yourself on purpose, you can safely travel the maze without getting attacked by any mobs. this is really useful on a big map that contain tons of monsters, bcs you dont need to spend any mp to travel to any part of the map. just make sure you reconnect yourself asap or youll get reset back to the start portal or even worse, kicked out of the maze. *asobimo please dont patch this feature:oops:

thats prolly all that i can share for now, itd be great if you(the reader) can leave a critic or tips for me.

    ♡thank you for reading♡

maze is super duper easier during the 2nd half of the month and ridiculously hard the first few days of the month. on the 2nd half of the month i can usually just 1 hit the mobs including the bosses w/my lv1 maze char

Like, during the 1 week period before this month's boost event, I constantly get hpo and hyper andeg
During the boost event, I get few to none. It's ×3 rate, so expected it should be equal to what I've got at the worst
