Blacksmith Basics--Lvl125 Cap

Does it matter to choose any class when creating a blacksmith character? I mean from the beginning not the stats.

 

Nope class choice doesn't make a difference only the stats do

 

Well, it depends on how you level the character really. Are you going to spend spinas to buy quest items for it or just go ahead and farm/ fight bosses with your bs. coz realistically speaking, Int and Dex BS can farm, while Vit BS (and if you're really good at it, some Agi BS) can really tank.

 

Hi, still new to this game. I noticed that when I'm about to add a stat, it would consume 20% more pot than it should. I've read the thread but haven't found an answer yet.

I'm still low level so tech isn't maxed yet. Is that why there's a penalty?

 

Yes, pot amount is affected by tec. If you don't have max Tec negatives will give less pot and positives will cost more pot.

 

Okay I see, at what tech will positives stop having penalty?

 

There's always a penalty when adding stats from the same section but to successfully follow the stat adding formulas in Vocal's and Wyrix's threads you need 255 Tech

I'm still unsure, r 2slot spawn really rng or based on luck like me gumi stated I'm his blog?80-1s/2s-15

 

It's just based on real life luck or in other words your luck with rng. The in game personal stat Luk increasing 2 slot chance is a myth however the myth was a true fact at level 70 cap but devs have altered luck stats affect several times since then so it no longer highers chance of crafting 2 slot gear

Do I need to reach lvl 100 proficiency before I reset or if I have enough proficiency and tech I can reset already? For example I have 80 prof and enough tech if I reset to reach lvl 100+ difficulty then I can reset?

 

Depends on type of blacksmith you're making since Magic Device, 1H, Halberd and Bow all use 2 main stats in which case you'd have to raise it to 100 before resetting since they don't use Tech but 2H, Staff, Bowgun, Knuckles and Armor use 1 main stat then Tech so you could reset any of those smiths at prof level 80 as long as you have enough Tech to craft the recipes for the rest of the levels.

 

If i want to make 1-h sword what job should i take??

 

Blade class an put your stats in Str and Dex but use full Tech first to raise your blacksmith prof to 100 then reset the character's stats putting all of your stat points in Str/Dex after resetting otherwise you'll have a very hard time crafting 1H swords.

 

How to make a fast leveling for job like blacksmith if i use the blade class

 

For prof leveling put all your stat points in Tech first then craft gear until you're prof level 100 after you reach prof level 100 use Reset Book then put all your stats on Str and Dex most commonly people use 240 Str rest in Dex. For actual leveling play as a 2H and use Tempest for farming though it's quicker to just use side quests to raise character level.

Senpai reset book is not for personal stat. And mirror of reflection is hard to get.
