Not good enough to play that mode yet low level

 

How about adding bash (swift)?
if shield bash fail us still have bash for stun, maybe u can stun boss every casting combo, this way party are safer

 

Shield Bash never fails to stun at Lv10, unless the target is still in "cool down", but if that is the case Bash wouldn't stun either. It is impossible to stun in every combo due to the cool down.

Made a tank just to try shellbreak, this combo works wonders.

But you forget little one, shell break and quickdraw will recover that mp for you, so ur free to waste mp

I doubt ud have to spam voke, and at lvl 10 shell break gaurdbreaks evey other time for me, plus with that large mana pool, u should be fine if u know what ur doin, lol thats what 1mp combos are for to, by the time u run out of mp, the boss would be dead anyways

 

Have to agree with Bk on this shell doesnt always proc and vs high evade mobs totaly misses leading to my other point this build will need crit added unless crit +200 knux release drills are ok for now but even vs s.gent miss a lot leaving you open to some major damage recieved. The theorys solid i cant doubt that however vit/crit/int/ail resist is too much even at 300 cap let alone our standerd one.
Imo a solid tank needs either of thease things.
1) huge hp pool and solid defences
Or
2) mass evasion possabilities.
Aggro will be a major issue on this build even ppl using voke or so called gun-fu i can steal aggro from using my new mage+future tanker as vitalitys added
Vit+int stats only needed.
Nice idea though.
Imo shellbreak benifits 2h builds the most now due to the astute 2h opener.

 

Why not bash? Feels like waste 10 points on shield bash and... how to tank the "dont flinch and tumble or stun the boss"? XD

Thank you! And to answer, Bash has a slow animation and it costs 2 MP. For the skill to be swifted we need it to cost 1 MP, or the combo would need to change drastically.

 

Yeah so the combo will be...
Smash>SB save>SW swift>Bash swift

 

And its the same/faster with/than swifted assault & shield bash i guess

 

And generates 800 aggro points less.

Angelus Mage is a Mp tank but with dps right?

And I see tanks are always needed for mini bosses and higher difficulty bosses so would mp tank be better? Since he won't die

 

I use a tank that relies on support skills and it's got 2k mp, you have limited time to tank while this tank doesn't for you don't have to charge when you're running low on gas
