Phantom Slash comment & ideas

Phantom Slash as more of a utility that brings damage.rather than just damage.

Shadow Step as more of an auto attack modifier rather than a skill.

Use phantom slash situationally, not just willy nilly. Phantom slash isnt the only damaging skill you have.
A well place Astute > Twin slash combo can equalize the damage you deal from a normal Phantom Slash.

Sonce shadow step has a 12m range. Its a good gap closer and auto attack modifier.since.it makes you do an.evasion attack that regens your mp thru ampr, as in my case, making shadow step a 100 mp skill because of.my ampr. Ampr is same to Trigger slash.

Basic combo of mine is either
Astute Spin Shadow Step
Hard Hit Astute.Shadow Step
Spin Astute Shadow Step

Basically i treat it as a replacement to Trigger Slash.

Those combos alone can do 20k damage.

My main damage combo is
Astute Phantom Swift/Cons Twin/Spin Shadow Step
Astute Spin Swift Phantom Swift Shadow Step
Astute Phantom Swift Shadow Step
Spin Phantom Swift Twin cons Shadow Step cons.

The new skill set makes you rely on ampr instead of spamming skills. I tried the combos you guys mentioned above before i reset and I can tell you that the skills werent meant to be spammed in quick succession. It was meant to be prorated thru autos which when then used correctly can deal massive amounts of damage.

As you all know from my playstyle and build. I am a soloist, proration enthusiast and i am not afraid to use high mp cost combos. Because i believe in bringing out the potential of a skill tree thru its synergy in the skills itself, bringing out its thematics. As you can all see from the combos i use. 400-600mp isnt a problem.for me since a few well placed autos can make me.dish oit another combo.

 

Same damage I get at full dex also. Hope someone can try it in full str.

 

Dex surely increase chance instante death

 

But instant kill only work for normal mobs, so sad

 

Does Phamton slash works as aoe?

Highest damage i dealt on swift. Same on new boss. Although not my full combo.

 

Amazing. makes me want to create a DW again. maybe once i cap my 2h and mage

 

charging slash also seems to work with phantom blade...
Would this work : Astute + charging save + phantom smite + shadow step consecutive?

 

Can full str make dmg of Phantom higher?

 

Thats around 45k combo. On my full combo. It can hit 57k with twin slash.

 

Yes but dont expect it to hit often.
