How about the evasion% give by reflex??

 

Funny, I just got another research result, I'll add it to my result

Is red Carpet attack effect our evasion?
the answer is a damn YES
our evasion only have 1/4 times of evasion chance we actually have in red carpet, basicly we hardly evade red carpet, and evasion player can't just ignore the red carpet and hoping their super high evasion rate work...

 

It really give you 10% evasion

Rumor said 50% but what i feel is around 40-50% instead

 

If that's the case... the 95% Eva rate they talking about is much easier to achieve than before???

Like here:
Light armor- 10%
Light armor mastery- 10%
Reflex- 40%
Mole Eyes- 10%
Sand veil ring- 1%
Rapier- 5%
BbGarb- 6%
4xtal- 16%

you'll evade almost ALL physical attack non red carpet from any mobs
Magic Damage will still hit you for 100%
Red Carpet attack will still hit you with 75% chance
and you will HAVE ONLY 100MP (NO mp xtal and No mp equip...)

 

As for my dw flash blast test. I have total 70% eva including reflex buff (if its really 40%) but i dont feel like im evading alot.

 

Haha yes I only have 100 mp, so that I don't have room for spamming combo, something like a limiter for myself..

Tbh I don't evade much , I don't know what's wrong with my char...

 

Honestly, I'm lazy to real all 4 pages (I read first and last page only).
Recently I did similar research, and I can confirm several things:
1. when completing Potum Club web(Toram DB), I found that "Evasion+4" xtal's item description actually says dodge+4. Same thing goes for Crimsosch's xtal, so as BK said, it is a translation mistake, they never be intended for evasion. Basically all item/skill that affect our "flee" stat is dodge, and those which don't are evasion rate. Or easier, all with % are evasion rate, all without % are dodge/flee.
2. My mage who uses light armor and don't have light armor mastery skill can dodge around 10% of the times, so yes light armor gives 10% evasion rate
3. My archer currently has 52% evasion (assuming light armor mastery lv 10 gives 10%), and I can dodge around half of the physical attacks. Some skills are hard (if not impossible) to dodge. I haven't done more testing, so no exact number yet.

 

As I said makOi, if you're targeted by red carpet attack, you only evade 25% of your evasion rate (if 80% become 20%)...

There's n evasion xtal that 4x +4 xtal is actually increase ur dodge not evasion, read the xtal description

 

@Cella i just realize i forgot to wear mole eyes and max light armor mastery. now i can tell im evading alot. imma post a sample vid of my DW Tempest+Flash Blast Test. Currently Lvl70+. Dmge is not that much due to level+dont have the other passives yet.
Oh and btw not all red carpet are phyiscal attribute there are some that is magic attribute which you cant Evade.

 

yep right for magic we cant evade... but for some reason in my test, i rarely avoid red carpet attack... But I avoid it like 1 in 5 attacks tho :/ the data is from Roga and Warmorger

 

Actually the xtals that I mean there are those that dropped by boss mobs eg:. Forestia

You can't evade Fractional and Fatal Attacks too, even though they can be categorised as Physical.

 

ic. i did my test on Masked Warrior i might get a 2s Berserker sword

Yo, can anyone try this also:

When your hp gets lower in battle, evasion increases.

I noticed on some runs evasion procs more often when you are running out of HP. But Im not sure yet if this is for real or Im just lucky. so I want someone else to test it also.

 

err... It'll be hard to test since when my hp low means i'll be dead in 1 ttack (evasion reduce defense eff)

 

Or it was just a coincidence that i evaded more when im about to die. Lol but im gonna test
