Easiest way to defeat Evil Crystal Beast

What is the most easiest way to defeat the Evil Crystal Beast?I'm currently at LV 75,so it's very hard for me to defeat the boss even on the easiest difficulty.

 

Dumbest question yet. No offense meant. Get more levels 75-130? Boss is easier at higher levels.

 

Whew savage.

It has strong magical attacks and the spikes are fractional. Use a long ranged fighter like a snipe or mage to beat it more easily, since it tends to use zoning Spike aoes to keep you away

 

Said no offense. I could've said make sure you're buffed and bring lots of revitas 4 and given him your response but I didn't. Sue me for saying the truth.

Anyways @ReiJouma you should tell us more details about your build so that we can direct you to a proper guide.

 

Easiest way is to avoid the attack and break it. Also you can do it in party it's the easiest way to beat boss. I Was with a lvl 38 in the weekly boss event, she was a mage and a damn good breaker. I focus on killing all the side monster and dealing small damage while she breaking the crystal. And dealing the killing blow when she done. A few run later and we got eerie xtal armor, spear and md so yes it was a good run.

Edit: lvl 75 should be strong enough to solo eerie xtal AFAIK. What's your weapon and stat? If I may ask.

 

Remember those days. You reminded me! Didn't mean to be an ass. Just saying he should be more focused on leveling up. But that's just my viewpoint.

 

My weapon

My weapon is a Rock Staff with 49 ATK and my stats(I relied a lot on my mercenaries to beat bosses so I didn't bother increasing my stats that much):

 

Advice mercs are only good during main quest where party members can't enter. Get a party, shouldn't be too hard. Just shout lfp. Ecb always has parties. Just remember to bring buffs and revitas.

 

For less than a day you already have a lot of question thread latelly, i think you are really curious about the game, nice one. Keep it up. So back to your question. ECB is pretty hard boss for a newbie with melle job. But if you are a range then it should be easy to do it on easy mode. Now about the mercenary, this guys will help you a lot while doing your main quest since they are you main dps helper, a tips for you, its better if you find a guild. Since every guild always have a strong mercenary in it (guild mercenary) rather than hiring a mercenary in spina which got the same lvl and low atk compared to the mercenary you could find on your guild mercenary. Another tips, try to level up you survival skill, at that lvl you should be able to get it to lvl 2 skill tree, and take the HP Boost skill which will give you 1000 hp, you need 15 skill point to take this, and this skill help a lot. And another tips for you, is try looking for some player nearby to help you with your mq, just shout lfp and maybe they help you on defeating the boss. You may find some high level player who are willing to help you kill the boss. And a note for you, its better to give the details about your character (job, stats you put, your equipment, etc) so that the forumers here could help you out with your question

 

That is what hes doing right now, we have a lot of question once we are newbie. And most common thing are how to lvl up fast?!, and we know that to lvl up fast is by doing main quest, which will give a big experience and easy to do. And like you said above "focused on lvl up" i dont get this one, how come can a newbie can have a 65k spina or 650k spina to buy nightmare crystal to lvl up? All of us already experienced this so no offense. All of us were newbie once, so chill out

 

Oh man... Your weapon is staf/mage and yet your biggest stat is dex and luk. No wonder. Your main stat should be int to increase your magic attack.
And I won't use luk unless it's for secondary character like luk mage which function is to farm mobs of little monster not boss. Even for my luk mage the int still big enough to kill the monsters and Minotaur bc If not they'll be useless.
Maybe you can use stat book to fix the stat. (buy it at weekend when it's usually on discount). If not do you know we can make 3 different character in one account? You can start a new character and nake a better stat for them. Just some idea

 

Hmmm... Just as @Aramaisa said make a new char... Your stats are spread allover... If you want to main mage, max int and choose dex or vit or str as secondary stat later on, depending on the build you choose... Then try to max HP boost from survival tree it gives you +1k hp...

If you want to keep using that char, toram gives a free reset book as reward from an achievement... You can use that to reset your char...

 

I do have the book that resets my stats.But,when I reset my stats,will I get back my stat points?

 

yes all your point is collected so u can redistribute the point properly. I suggest to look up some mage build/stat so you know what's best for you.

 

I'm sorry to point it out, however i think you talk about the totally different boss here, what you say is about the Eerie Crystal, but he wants to know about the Evil Crystal Beast which is a different boss. On level 75 he wouldn't have a problem beating Eerie crystal ^^

 

Lmao I just noticed my bad for not reading properly.

 

I have 190 stats points now,but I don't know what mage build/stat suits me better so may you tell me how much INT and DEX should I increase?
