Why do people use girl characters even though they're boys?

For some reason I don't like seeing overly muscular men nor overly sexualized women (which is kinda the trend for nowadays' MMORPGs I guess). I like Toram's style, it doesn't feel exaggerated.

 

Possibly the hardest part on male char app in mmorpg.
You can't get him too muscular or too skinny (you know those shonen stuff).
It have to be in middle

 

It's all about aesthetic I tell ya, it's just simply pleasing to the eyes

 

The latter part made me lol I get complements both ways tbh, irl guys complement my girl char and irl girls complement my boy char. But yeah it’s natural for females to be easier accepted for mistakes and whatnot in society and it works here as well.

 

Tbh I create girl avatars, because I think they’re cute. In games where you have partners, like Alchemia Story, or SAOIF, or games where you end up “partnering” with other players/NPCs, then I create a dood, but when it’s just a normal game where u make a character, I make a girl, bc I get to create my own little girl avatar, where I get to design her and give her different clothes, probably bc I like to find ways to make them look beautiful, like an angel. But creating a guy, doesn’t really feel the same, I think fashion suits females more than males, but that’s just me. Sometimes I create male characters too. But rarely

For me having girl char didnt mean your a trap, I mean for me, being a trap means intending to be a girl to scam, loot, grab or got praised by other specially boys.

I do have one girl character (and four guy char), and I also dress it up (since most equipment apps are really good and female char), but my IG says it all that im a guy, she is my farmer, and sometimes prefer using it while idling (or ill use my Mexican minstrel)

As long as im not using it to seduce other guy char to scam them or have an affair to gain some benefits from them, im ok with it and didnt find it gei

 

I created a girl character to see what my avatars looked like on a girl. Some of them looked really good on her. I didn't keep that character for too long though. I like playing as a male.

 

I always play male characters in mmo's its more of a challenge to make your guy char to look cool and besides im not into the whole gotta look at dat ass thing since i rather look at one in person but everyone has there thing so i don't shame it

It's simple. The amount of thought I put into making and playing female characters is beyond far less than any reason why I do so. I suppose aesthetics is a good term to describe such reasons.

It reminds me of memes. In general we don't analyze to scientific/psychological/philosophical detail on why we find them enjoyable or humorous.

Generalizing males who play female characters in MMOs, I don't think is a good idea.

 

If I were male, I probably will chose to play as a female too... the reason is simple, female ge better app and avatar item in this game :/

I don't understand why some people really hate males using female chars. Most males make female charas out of aesthetic reason (as you can see from the poll above) and I'm pretty sure people who says they like to see LoLi'S bOobS anD AsS are saying it in a sarcastic manner. I mean who the f*ck gets turned on by seeing a 2D game character?

Well, rejoice feminists. Men would eventually disappear even if you don't do anything about it. According to Wikipedia, aready 1393 genes already lost out of the original 1438, also losing 4.6 genes per million years, so a bit under 10 million years, and men would be gone. Just be patient, it's not that long anyway. Your dreams of having a world like that all-girls school you came from is not very far off! Yay!
