Best attacking skill for a Tech BS/Alchemist (no lvl 4 skills) ?

farm on mino to get skinn then sell it for get little money and buy mithril ore and for have self rifner i up untrade able gear to + E when luck i can get +D. cuz to have option gear buy on cb even +E need at last 500k for ccc katana slot. and more higher price with armor.
befor i get all those gear i use now
i just use kuro tusrbami + 1k aspd for ampr
find vetibus armor from tapir bos slot
top hat slot
beast talisman ring get cheaper price.

and all equip rifine to + E put all xtal +200 mp so i dont have problems use zentai and magadaci.

 

Invest is all i can say
Untradeable gear can only take you so far depending on what class you're playing

It cost me an arm and a leg in my newb days but that same spear I had carried me all the way to 150

 

i m lvl 153 now. for this time all gear i use can save me from early die on CG. the modestia get from P. ava are gifted for me who use katana as a main char.

and i dont like when someone say katana is freaking and useless. and mock me with say katana hard to get pt. when someone seriusly on lvling. cuz the fact i know when another job on my pt die when lvling on CG i m still alive and can kill it. if they not seriusly on katana build or cant play it please... dont mocking it

 

Its probably harder for katana to get pt because of how fragile most of them tend to be

A dead dps is a useless leech
The reputation of katana users been damaged by people who copy paste builds expecting to do high damage or people who havent mastered the class

that why i m so angry when someone not know the true katana build. and what that job can do. but just say they freaking and useless.
they just can copy paste but give judge like a pro. and not even try to fix or make it the build and combo to suit own play style
and just mocking me say me freaking katana fanatic.
copypaste player not even think how to survive just follow someone build and hope be instan pro. and when they failed. they just say that job useless.

There was a theory that DEX also affected sucess rate, of your refining. I don't know if that still holds until today.

lol i have a katana....and i'm playing it right now, btw it's level 153 now...tenryu spam huh? i don't base my advices based on what other people say, all of my advises come from my pain/fails/stress and hard work. It seems you misunderstood... i said it's useless for a tech/dex bs, i never said a full fledged dps katana was useless. It takes only 300 battles to understand how katana works.
My gosh has if you would know a true katana build lol.....

 

Lol last i chked i was first to post my weapon s.s of p avatar on forums i have a genuine freaking tenryu legit most player dont even know more than me abt katana thats why i wont recommend ktn to newbies . Lol and where did gf part came from.

This is a myth only Tec and Luk affect refine.

Nadie in general combat wise leveling a dps character is easier than leveling a tec bs but as I always say to anyone who asks for "best" there is no best in Toram certain things are just better in different situations.

 

You should find your advantages about equipment and experience in the game. In my case, I lvl up my BS TECH like Magic Finale because have Queen Staff so I easier for me lvl with him. In my other account have Modestia so should be easy lvl up like KTN Tenryu.
In the past, many people used Zantei Build with low gears and they did good damage.
All depends about your gears and experience.

I have bs tec w 100ish dex too.

If you alrd unlocked lv4 better use cf or finale.

If youre still lv 3. Prefer snipe or zantei

 

I need some water, that was some serious salt back there. If you really need a tech, use mq and mercenaries(one tank, one dps) until tec is full and stop, or go to lvl 110 then stop. Dont use pet, you'll end up with 5 pets that dont even get lance or raging blow, or get a support pet with first aid. Just take any bow to start the battle and first aid your dps merc if it dies. After that, just be support. If you dps you'll ruin proration yet deal low dmg, even with finale, and you cant tank because 255 tec and not much in vit or guardian etc. Just support and prorate, use brave aura to give attack boost, first aid dead players, cast aegis and protection(actually guardian could work if semitank). I dont recommend using dps for tec.

 

Might be a bit late to this thread but I started my tech bs as the second char after my mage main. In the beginning I planned to make a full tech smith synth and thought I would get by leveling it via NC. I used my main to feed the smith NC and even used main quest for xp. (Farming NC is a pain without a full luck mage) At the time my SS had zero battle skills and as it grew it was sitting on almost 60 unused skill points. While doing main quest before I met with a contact person (king at el scaro, Pino, etc) I would swap out my SS to meet them and gain the given XP with my SS. Gaining xp by swapping my SS this way got me to 136ish. After all the NC grinding I've been doing then running around completing mq with my main I was soo tired of the grind I was sure seeing another nightmare roar would compel me to punch some innocent looking muffin or pastries at some faire I happen to be at. So I took a different route and started 'buying' NC... this was a good and bad change for me. At this point I had given my SS Int as a secondary stat so I could make staffs and MDs which is always in demand since tuyul/botters always needed proper tools for their trade! I thought to myself "I shall fill this need it might be easy money.." so now instead of farming nc I found myself farming lonogo for wood/mats for revita5, or other mats I would need to make, stat, refine, sometimes app a MD.. almost 9 million spina later my smith is 146(ish) NC only gave 1 bloody xp per NC stack at around 130ish. There had to be a better way! And like the kiss of light when dawn breaks, the warmth the sun gives as it caresses your cheek, the vivid colors that light brought to this world as billions of photons simultaneously bombard you with this gentle embrace.. the all mighty and powerfull devs introduced finale. Lady luck was smilling at me when I chose Int as a secondary stat! Now with my hoarded skill points the dark rain clouds of grinding NC or Bossing to feed my SS is no longer cast its shadow darkening my path! I 150 capped my smith synth that same week. As the cap increased to 160 it was still easy.

Before the free reset I lacked the skill points for my main mage to have maxed finale/maximixer so during the Choiyaki Mentai, P.Avatar/Gespenst2 events I used my full 255 tech rest Int SmithSynth"Mage" and I must say it was glorious! There is one caveat I must share. This game has made me into a full fledged gear hoarder which came in handy because I had the Queen potum staff (I know a lot made them into apps), Coffin sheild, Devil mask which all helped mask the fact that my char wasn't a full INT mage heck I often got attacker ranks in random parties.

Maxing your main to unlock tier 4 skills is the best and cheapest way to give any production class access to tier 4 skills/abilities you also get experience bonus if done that way.
