Full evasion calculation

Basicly this thread is out of date...

 

The 10 extra stat point will translate to 2 crit rate. Any -crit rate gear will likely have a penalty larger than -2...

 

@Precaria Well Muga's statement contradict yours... Muga said Dodge up increase evasion too... is this thread out of date? or it's still increase eva?

 

That information is outdated. The skill changed to "Dodge UP" and it does not affect evasion anymore, but the Flee stat.
The only skills which will increase your evasion rate are Light Armor Mastery (passive) and Reflex (active).

AGI and Evasion doesnt have any connection.

Agi directly influence dodge/flee and aspd.
at around 1800 aspd you will feel your motion speed faster ^^. but its not worth to put agi to increase aspd. GSPD pot prefered.

Evasion is added (flat figure) when you equip dagger , light armor, or activating reflex skill. Luk does not increase evasion. The roll mechanism mentioned in this thread havent convinced me yet as i mentioned at some replies before this.

i dont have char with 255 crit so i cant comment about crit stat. same goes with luk and mtl.

 

While I agree with you, these are info that are currently known, at least to us. Reason why I doubt our current knowledge, is that any hidden stat, including motion speed, is affiliated with a certain stat.
CRT - Crit rate
STR - Crit Damage
AGI - Motion speed
LUK - Drop rate
MTL - Ailment resistance

The only known hidden state that is not related to any stats are unsheath damage, which the only way to raise it is by DW skill and Unsheath bangle.

Having said that, Evasion is another hidden stat that is not isolated with any stats, at least to our current knowledge. That's why I'm trying to see if anyone can test to validate that claim ^^

So we have Dex.... is Dex connected to Evasion?

 

I'm not smart like y'all but I do feel like Evasion is connected to Dex I mean there's pretty good logic there , think about why DW have high evasion cuz they focus on agil and dex with agil giving it more prob.

 

Not only DW.. both DW and Brawler (who focus on Dex Agi) has good dodge and great on evasion build

 

Ironically, @Zenki and I both experienced a lot of evade with our DEX characters. Mine was a Sniper. That could be the case, again, need a nerd to test it out ^^

 

What about physical/magical resistance and phy/magic pierce??? They aren't associated with any stats either as far as I know.
If every stat has a hidden stat then that leaves 3stats with no confirmed hidden stats(dex,int,and vit)
Wht if:
Dex: Unsheathe Atk/physical pierce
Vit: Physical resist
Int: Magic resist/magic pierce

 

So I made a AGI brawler lvl 22, using Smash > Reflex > Flash at FW. I evade 2 times a battle (occasionally, 3).

With a DEX 1h lvl 15, using Astute > Reflex at FW, I evade 4-5 times a battle repeatedly.

Both equipped with:
Army knife
BB Garb
Mole eye <Astol>
DEX II

Neither weapon has evade. Berzerker knuckle vs player crafted sword.

 

That could be possible, but really hard to test.

 

Physical resist will reduce if we use normal and magic skill
Magic resist will reduce if we use physcal and normal attack
Normal attack resist will reduce if we use magic and physcal skill
That's how it works

We should test full dex without any evasion armor and normal armor....

 

We could and we should.

I thought I'd use the same gear on a full STR and the same gear on a full DEX and see if there is a difference.That way we can see how the stats perform differently given the same evasion gear.

So I put the gear on my full STR warrior who has 7 DEX now... And my DEX warrior who only has 115 DEX, and compared them.

I did 3 battles with Mochelo each. And only counted the first 10 normal attacks, not red zones.

Full STR evaded 2-3 times on average. DEX evaded 4-5 times on average.

In one of the battles, I evaded 8 times in a row while finishing off the fight. I reported my findings in http://toramonline.com/index.php?threads/eva-sword-1h-counter-attack.12521/, an evasion counter attack build that I'm working on, but the reaction that I got is that it's just my luck.

So I hope someone else can test this too. If you ask me, I think DEX helps, but so far in all of Toram, it's probably just me and @Zenki.
