Guide for all Toram Players MUST READ [75 CAP]

I am not a fan of pure support class. Luck yes. But not support. Until it's needed. I had a nice Priest Pre wiped data. But I've it blank until later. So my mage ia surely giving a beating instead.

 

Maybe one day, I'm always looking for a tank for GK @Bk

 

I'm just there for the dye since I have high buyers for it. The rest of the items are useless.

 

Yeah , with some strategy and skill we can kill the boss .... Level are just number .
if we dont have TANK , it can replaced with sub tank atk while run or breaker with full break ( break causes boss cant atk for a while ) .....
for BREAK every class can help in breaking , example a warrior use hard hit on ooze , the rest member can standby on the other side to tap , i really hate the answer " i cant tap " when asking "can help with tap?" .. Just tap when someone use breaking skill ....
for archer or mage (DPS) dont need to afraid the boss will kill you , u wont die if ur character died ( this is not SAO LOL ) but if party died , all drunk can go home then .. Mage also can maximize damage by using AOE on the boss , for the running boss tank can help by rule the boss inside AOE

 

personal opinion based on personal experiences here..
I'm a 2h with str n a lil bit of crit. In every 1st run yes i died but the next runs i always tried not to die.i consider myself i can be a good tank with vitaplus n other buffs (cakes,champagnes,roasted chickens are nice.too bad its limited).with combo,i can make a good dmg.its just that i always have this principle that i musnt die,i must kill it quick or i must be the last man standing.so far i accomplished it many times.its just that sometimes,i need a good support.thats all...i can tank i can break i can attack,thats what my 2h can do.i just need a good support.means when i'm busy tanking n hacking,someone can deal dmg as well.i will die for the pt,but only if the pt worth it.anndddd..obviously i dont wanna die for some luk build lol..i bust my ass n some shit got the goodies?just nope

 

An advice to pure support players; wait till the Raid dungeons come out. Trust me, you will all be wanted. xP

 

Well said. As a 2H myself its like I will be the last man standing even if I have to kill roga myself. Yes I maybe outranked on attacker position but I will take the tanker, breaker, and support! ( I use warcry on my combos). I may die on runs, but I will not die without fighting back.

 

damage received scales with def/mdef and max hp, figured it out when me and my guildmates were farming Gigant Knight, I'm receiving high damage (high def/mdef, high max hp, way back when i was using my Tank Brawler), but my other guildmate receives less of the same AOE skill (he has no HP Boost, and poor defense), which gave me the impression that AOE damage is percent based off your max hp (after def/mdef) and will spike up if you receive critical damage.

if anyone can do some tests to provide more proof to show the validity of my hypothesis, kindly post it here~

How Do I Get The Black And Blue Dyes?

 

i thought fractional is damage from Flinch/Tumble/Stun, etc? because that's what i'm getting on the battle log when my character encounters a status effect during casting and it's interrupted.

If you have a time and want to save ur 15skill point for another build skill, then just try to creating Vita Plus II, it give u +1000HP same as lv10 HP Boost, but if you're a lazy player then u should have HP Boost lv10 xD

Do you honestly believe this statement makes sense? As much as I hate crappy partymates in Roga, not everyone has 1337 equips. That's the whole point of farming anyway - to get stronger. If everyone is so uber strong already, then what's the fking point of grinding this boss for hours?

A lot of people are there to hunt MoD or Killer Coat which they wouldn't get otherwise.
There's nothing wrong with looking for efficient party setup when you have average equips.

Let's take a look at one of the older boss: Forestia. If you weren't a mage or archer/gunner, chances are, you'll gonna get shit on by this boss if you don't have enough Crit. Is it the players' fault they don't have Crit immediately? When I was very new, Forestia was hell for me as a Brawler. Once I got a Storm Dagger, I swore to never return there again. Little did I know, that I need Rainbow Stone for Ooze arm.

TL;DR Easy boss time comes from Uber Equips; Uber Equips comes from farming.
Edit: Rainbow not Runestone. Damn all this Oracle mat farming getting to my head.

 

All I'm reading is elitism BS. If you don't like the way other people play, that's your own issue. Just get a group of people you want to run with that play the way you do. This thread would have a much more different tone if you stated it as advice, but the way you've worded it makes it seem like there's only one way to play. And that's the complete opposite of what Toram is.

 

dont get me wrong,i never intended to hog all ranks ^^. If i happened to hog it maybe because the others didnt do their role or maybe i'm op.lots cases were,i got breaker even tho i didnt even tap.i'm sure same thing happen to lot of other players too.rank or no rank,for me i go in i do my job.if i get rank,its nice.if i dont,well life goes on xp..

 

It's nothing new. 2handers have always been aggro whores and because of the way the breaker rank works and their naturally high damage, they've always been able to sneak breaker. Until recently they were also the highest physical dps so Attacker wasn't a strange thing to get for a 2h.

 

Those were the good ol days, back when archers and brawlers were considered to be the weakest classes
tho brawler still hasn't got its moment in the spotlight yet
