How did YOU join/get into your guild?

A friend from my old guild's was kicked out over some drama, so I decided to leave as well .. A few weeks later I met him at sofya, he invites me to his guild, I join him .. until now.

Most bizarre thing happened with my new char though ..
Well, I was invited to this guild by this guy near pelulu,,, he said that the guild lvl are still at lvl 5 at that time, and most of the members are around 15-20ish, so I thought that it must be a new guild ..
At that time my char lvl is still at lvl 18, so I'm thinking that hey, maybe it would be fun .. since there arent too much gap differences between the members lvl , maybe we could farm together etc etc.. and so I decided to join his guild.
As usual the old members greets me nicely, I did some introduction, we all talk, etc etc. Until a few moments later, the guy who invited me asked me to go to guild's bar where he and several members are gathering there .. and so I come ..
Right there he told me that we all must wears adv garbs whenever we came to guild's bar.
So I was like .. okay .. maybe its their thing or something ..
Well, and so we had a normal chatter,, we talked about toram's stuff,, silver coryn drop ( its the last day of the silver coryn events if I'm not mistaken), how many dyes that each of us got,, etc etc ..
Until a few moments later the guy who invited me to join the guild ask me ..
"Have you done rping before?"
Well I know the terms, did it a couple times, but not a fan apparently (no offense) ..
So I lied and said "No."
And then he explained to me all about rping, blablabla,,
And then after that he told me that the guild's main purpose is to do rping.
Whaa ..
"?..Why?" :/
Tbh I was a little surprised and disappointed .. but still, I'm trying not to insulting his feeling by showing my disappointment.
And then he explained that it was for releasing tense, etc etc ,,expressing ourself, etc etc .. and also talking some kinky stuff. Bam!
" ... Kinky?"
"Yes, you know .. kinky stuff, **** stuff, blablabla .. and each member could pick with whom they want to do it here at the guild's bar every time the urge is come .."
"........"
*Exit guild bar, Quit Guild, Remove that guy from my friend list.*

Note : Its not the actual convos, but it was pretty much something like that.

Now don't get me wrong, i love role-playing! I mean cmon, who doesn't like acting into drama? But dirty role-playing... that's whole different story hahah
Anyway im still freeman until now, haven't joined any guild

 

I met the person who would eventually recruit me ,Overatur, when we were both n00bs(we still are) while farming beaks in temple. She was handing out free s arts and nicked blades to random players. We PTed for some time and I found her nature to be awesome so I friended her. Later I met her at brutal dragon while farming. She told me she could inv me to her guild and I joined it.
Our guild is Divine Light and I absolutely love it now. Most members are super active and experienced so I keep learning stuff from them. We have a guild kik and do a lot of stuff together. I hope to be in this guild for a long time xp.

 

It was my 3rd day playing Toram and was looking for party "Volg Farm" and then i got invited, after a few runs i got invited to their guild named "GP Wielders AKA Golden Patatas" (Exclusive for Filipino/Pinoy)

 

I had to touch Squid's raffy.

 

In my case, on my second day in toram I saw one of the vice guild masters of Asgard, Brahms, in sofya international. He ended up helping getting the f.w garb with others in his guild and in the end he invited me to Asgard.

Since then the guild has mostly been active and those who, without a reason, aren't much active get kicked.

I love Asgard and I never hope for it to be inactive.

 

mine's pretty straight forward... i just made it..
initially it was for my own personal use, as i did not know how the online community was like (i was expecting facilities like iruna)
so having a guild would be plenty useful... except our guild bar isnt very established, which was a downer.

i also happen to be a social worker/counsellor by profession (and an avid gamer!) and some of my youths from my youth centre were playing it as well..
so.. i added them into the guild!
initially i just wanted to keep it low profile, just the few of us partying and doing boss hunts, until i met some pretty awesome and friendly players in my journeys around Toram.

i only add players i meet in game after i hang out with them and find that they are nice ppl..
i dont really recruit by shouting 'Guild recruitment!' cos i want to ensure that the guild remains a safe place for my youths who hang out with me (i have an obligation to their parents!)

my guild's called 7th Ronin, we only have 7 officers at any one given time.
i must admit that my guild's a little inactive, due to the fact that my students are having exams this period.
but i must say that im proud of them for choosing to focus on their responsibilities instead of gaming!

 

My story is probably pretty unusual. Thought in another way not so unusual.

Everything started when my twin sister, @Sakuraid, started playing toram. She was asking me repeatedly if I wanted to join. I guess I started a few days after her in july, only to try the game out a bit. I was pretty much a noob, especially when it came to online gaming terms. I played a bit of Order and Chaos, Avabel and tried out Iruna (wasn't really for me) before this, but I never joined a guild and pretty much played solo or with my sister (by the way I'm the older one). Well I started playing for real after finding Toram interesting (I almost immediately found it interesting) and after joining the game my sister told me about the guild she was in. I really wanted to join after hearing the stories of her adventures with the guild. The thing was I couldn't join. Because at that time only our GM could invite and she wasn't in at the moment. Anyway I was able to join the guild my second day playing and I'm really happy that I did. I was really lucky to join an active guild the moment I started to play. Right now I'm not really that active, just very busy with a mountain of homework, drawing requests, manga making and so on. You can say my absence from the game is accepted in the guild, and I'm really happy about that too.

How I joined the guild I am?
- Met the leader back when he didn't had the guild, we did Decel and FW farming
- Got invited by him after 5 days from our last farm
So far... the guild already became dead with only our high Lv member (GrimLord), my girlfriend (_Dreamy_), that girl whom I forgot her IGN (it's Kaelyn... something), and me... yeah... guilds everybody!

 

Being a newbie I had no clue what I was doing and as many back as a noob I could not kill Moch for the likes of me! I can't exactly remember how I was invited into this guild but it was thanks to MelB the leader of the Twilight guild if I can recall.. I'm a pretty shy person in game until I get to know you so I didn't exactly speak at all in this guild.. Saffron pm me asking what armour would I like and so I said Aqua *of course back then "the blue one" while pointing at someone wearing it* and so Saffron gave me not only an Aqua garb but also took me to new moon where I constantly died.. ALOT. after many revives he got me the bonesword drop and even farmed mats for a fluffy tail! *f you toram and your easy ass quest*. After that Saff and Melb back then helped me to defeat Moch and Volg but it was pretty tough, I had to wait for them to come back on and we are completely different time zones so it was nearly impossible.. and so while I waited I did what I do best, learn new things via YouTube, I then started levelling at Zok and that's where I met Tymez and Meowwwie, after hours of levelling they offered to help with my main quest and so after being lost in Scaro for over 20 minutes we finally killed Mauez, after this Meowwwie being Meowwwie convinced me to join her guild where I called home "CheeseLover" until drama and misunderstanding of trying to friend-zone came into play, Meow dropped leader and asked me to take over so, this is why we are called "CheeseLover" because I wanted to carry the name without confusing our members, as meow and I recruited all the old active members she then decided to go solo and remade a new guild where all the old guild vice's followed, I was offered but I decided to keep the guild I run to this day with many new faces to teach and help grow, of course to help old faces too, and searching to build a strong friendly guild in the process.

Since starting Toram I have only joined three. I tend to be attatched to guilds I join and find it odd to bounce around. The first was during my first hour of playtime and a random invite. A smaller guild and met many nice people there. Shortly after many had turned inactive and the actives had left to find home somewhere else. As the last active I made my decision to leave. After I joined another which was short lived after a certain member decided to start drama with me during a party. I decided it was time to leave. The rest of the members were wonderful but just to not start problems I left. I went solo for a while and got tired of being a hobo XD I made a post one day as I decided playing alone was no longer fun. That's when squid found me ^-^ joined Potum and plan on staying :3 I'm usually quiet at first so finding guilds was never really easy.

 

So... Squid is the one who took my Nok away

 

I believe we figured out who and she was never reassigned xD

 

Awe. >.< Well we still can hang outs n' stuffs! We haven't in a while!

It has been far too long! And as for that guild member, we all believe it would have been Knomes due to she was starting new guildies in meows new guild and was kicked and then ignored by both guilds due to she was only using everyone.
