ooooh i'm not from SG xD, i'm from PH. i don't know how people see that I'm from SG here in forums. DX. but i might be moving to SG in a year or two.
any ways, i'll be taking a page from your build here, but using it on my DW. for a more update Ichigo look since Ichigo has two swords now.

Edit: my 2H Sammurai could be the old single giant big sword zangetsu, while your DW could be the new 2 sword one XD

 

I'm just hesitant on getting Power wave because i'm used to being an auto attack reliant dual wield because i can hit around 5k-6k max total damage from DW auto attacks, and i might get disappointed because of the damage reduction

I love how quick draw returns MP to me XD

Some added considerations include:
1. Creating a 1MP combo that works well (atm I don't have impact (save) yet due to lack of skill points)
2. Consider AOE capabilities when I have more skill points
3. Consider battle skills (suggestions by @Cella and @ Cypherian

 

I really like this idea and want to build something very similar soon. Thank you for the inspiration. My only worry is they're going to update the game and add spears and katana and new skill trees soon any ruin all my work.

 

A samurai is build on speed of attacks. Not power. So woukdnt stats be more agi then str and crit

hey bro @Cypherian, i was wondering if power wave may be a good addition to your DW build.. i know that with range, the auto attack damage goes down... but it seems to hit max power when you are close range (i.e. with sonic boom animation, damage decreased, with normal melee swing at close range dmage seems to be normal). if this can be proven, your DW can maintain mobility by generating AMPR and dodging boss attacks from a distance before going in for the kill.

im suggesting this because:
1. DW's AMPR is awesome
2. DW's melee animation tends to be a little long, mobility decreases, so Boss AOEs tend to hit
3. power wave gives you an added playstyle to manage your timings

what this means is that you can stick to your 5-6k auto attack, but rely on the long range to chalk up MP if you feel the need to (added playstyle)... PLUS, the sonic boom animation looks pretty cool.. especially if your weapon has and element... ^^

 

I actually tried this. But i made a separate build for this power wave DW. Although it is good for my ampr to regen from afar. I want to maintain aggro and lock down targets with constant spam of flinch and blind.

 

hwo's the flinch rate for DW? are you using martial skills? or just the DW Flinch skill?

 

Im using Hard hit as combo opener most of the time. cross parry is very situational unless i can get behind the target while he is casting redzone attack directly in front. although i know i can use power wave. the proration from the normal attacks i do from range is not that high so i'd have to double the amount of normal attacks i do to get a high burst damage than what i normally get from around half. power wave is a very viable skill for me. but i would only get it to level 5. and one reason i dont wanna get it know is because i dont want to get mp charge.
