The reason isnt because player-base "demands" them in the first place. The actual reason is simply because, well, they're exploitable. Its a part of human's nature, encouraged by certain cultures and backgrounds, be it economic, education or other reasons. The notion that the player - base "need" them or even "want" them is false.

Please define these "reasons" you're talking about. I made my point that the "reason" is because of loopholes and the system that allows exploitation. Which is the fault of asobimo side. Hence the need of a solution on their part

In all seriousness, the problem wouldn't exist if Asobimo simply hadn't given people a reason to exploit such an obvious loophole. In other words, they shouldn't have put the orb shard rewards in for adding people as friends, or other in-game achievements based upon gameplay that could be easily exploited.
