INT/LUK Mage Build

Hello there, I'm a new player in Toram Online and need some opinions from fellow players. I'm gonna be a LUK Mage. What's the best equipment, armor, additional gear, special gear, skills should I build for my character? After enough levels, I'm going to farm Nightmare Crystals. One hit kill on Nightmare Roar. Last one, what stat should I increase to make one hit kill on Nightmare Roar? INT or LUK?

 

Weapon : should be a player crafted knuckles (higher atk better)with a specialized stat : [Light Element, +11 dmg to dark , MATK +5%-7%]
(Knuckles in general has higher potential than md , which allows us to have a stat like this on knuckle which md can't have and just like md , knuckles also gets 4matk per point in int.)
Sub-weapon : any MD in order to get all benefits of md for magic skills including storm aoe and mpcharge
Armor : player craftet with stat [INT +7% , MATK+7%]
Additional gear : Boss dropped Cat-earhood (for cspd)
Special Gear : Philo Ring
You really don't have to spend much on xtals , int+3 and mp+150 xtals would suffice.
With this kind of build you'll only need around 80 int and rest luck in 1 hitting n.roar.

 

Special Gear: Philo Ring (I've in my private inventory) because my friend trade with me... ^^

Why knuckle, and MD for sub ??

Atk is lowered by -15%.
All spell radii use wider MD range.
Stability Substats Function
Proc Rate of brawler skills decreases by 25%. (base 100%: Decreases to 75%)
Secondary Substats do not function.*
Xtals on Secondary do not function.

That's because in general, MD's has lower pot than knuckles so it's reaaally hard/impossible to do that element stat on md also knux has higher base dmg than md.
Also there is no downside in using knuckles over md when it comes to farming, yeah you get -15%atk reduction when equipping md as sub weapon but you use matk stat not atk stat when using magic skills. Also while equipping md as sub , your storm has the big aoe just like md and mp charge becomes 4s just like with md as well , and let us not forget just like md , knuckles gains 4matk per point of int.

 

Empress Soul MD have +10% damage to 4 element and good for farm

 

He could probably buy any @55+ base knuckles (ofc higher the better) , stat it and refine it altogether for 1.2m.
Cat-earhood is assumably 350k
There are alots of very cheap i7m7 armors on cb which barely costs 400k
So he probably wont even spend more than 2m+
Ofc for newbies it might be high , but remember to get the most out your luck without sacrificing it for int for matk, these set are optimal.

 

Empress soul has a low 30+ base dmg and remember.
Element Stat has +25% base dmg + 11% dmg to element , that itself already gives you 36% and lets combine it with matk+5-7% , obviously this stat will win over empress' +10% dmg to element.

 

I had alot of hard time back then as well , but he made a right choice of making a farmer, because farming right now in this era of toram is one of the best source of income.

 

Not really requiring to do a stat service tho because not everyone can do stat service , but more of farm to sell mats type of farming is what im talking about. Farming hematite & dama ores are just a few examples of item that could give you more than 200k per hour if you got a full pt with.

Hi Sir Egg. How do i invest skill points and stat points on my mage to make use of this knuckle md build properly? I spent alot of spina to get the knuckles but i only do decent damage with spells and when out of mana the knuckles do way less dmg than md as primary. I dont have any pts in knuckles tree just mainly on survival and magic. Currently im lvl 47 . When will is see the benefits of this build? For now it kinda is the same as just having md as main with magic attacks only ( for now i only have arrows and wall)

 

Hi , the build i showed was meant for farming , but it appears that your level is way too low to fully utilize the build i gave you, but I'll try to give you step by step details on how to make it work.
1st is Skill build :
Magic :
Wall 5
Mp charge 10
Survival :
Mp boost 1
Drop rate up 10
Blacksmith or Alchemy :
Processing lv 1
once you reach lv 70 get the ff.
Magic :
Storm 10
Impact 7

Stat : 80 int first ,rest luk

Second , I suggest for you to craft volcano knux or elflame md with fire element on it and farm shell masks on nisel mountain and use the bnut and nisel wood dropped by it to level up your way through 70 , Once reached 70 , you can now transition to farming nightmare roars found in ancient empress tomb , once you earned abit of spina try looking for an armor with [int +7% , matk +7%] it usually costs 200k-300k then next is a knuckle that has @50 base atk with 53-55 potential , then find a statter here in forum and stat it [Light ele , +11% dmg to dark, Matk +5%] usually elemental stattings costs 400-500k.

What about knuckles with + 11 to int and dex and a light element?
