I had already read some walls of text on reddit about it and with the release of this event they have shown they don't care much for complaints at all

 

Dang, they're really trying to kill the game slowly specially to F2P PC and consol players who are not used to this kind of system. It's insane to add mobile elements on PC and Console platforms.

 

People are such cheapskates. The game got to make money some how. They already offered ways people can get resin, you get 1-2 Fragile Resin
when you hit certain Adventure ranks and complete certain missions, which can be use to get +60 resin and even if you are out Fragile Resin it only cost 50 Primogems each time you refill and each refil gradually increases from 50, 100, 150, etc. they even offered ways people can get characters for free without even paying (I already got Jean, Diluc, Fischl, Beidou, from the free spins). They put a lot a effort into their game so when i decide to spend money on the game I wouldn't really care cause these developer really worked hard on this game and they would need to funds to continue developing it and paying those that are working on the project. Can't say the same for Toram devs are greedy and stingy as hell.

 

Yeah right, say that after they've given free orbs just by adding friends back then and what did the players did? They abused the hell out of it and gave them no choice but to remove it. They used to be so generous in giving orb shards but what did the other players did? They abused the heck out of it.

What happened when they gave out 200 orbs as compensation after the server crash back then? Players abused the heck out of it and even sold accounts with orbs. Some just spent it and when they got salty they want more. People are just greedy, be it company or players. But just admit it. You can progress in Toram even with NS as long as the equipment stats are good. It's just that you're gonna be grinding a lot, but there's no limit to it except the time you're willing to use. You can even grind all day for few days if you want. But for Mihoyo- like Genshin & Honkai, you'll end up grinding for weeks and months and will miss a lot because of the cooldown system in their resource/stamina if you don't log in that much.

 

Genshin Should only stop at Gacha for income, you even have to use some money for character constellations but to force a player to use money just to fight and loot the boss is ridiculously greedy. The limit for refill thru primogems is 6 times a day, primogems can be obtained anytime for free but on a little amount. Holy crap, after running out of free primogems, you'll be forced to spend money to do the usual stuff. Spending money just to get more progress and better drops than anyone is P2W. People keep on defending it's not P2W, guess what? this "Risen" is one of the proofs that it's a P2W game.

The people who are complaining that they hit the wall because of this restriction called "Resin" are people who are at Aventurer Rank 30 and above you know and that 1-2 fragile resin will not be enough at higher rank and will be hard to get later on. They even say if you don't spend primo, you can only fight bosses twice/thrice a day from 120 "risen" and have to wait 16hours to max it out again from 0. What a terrible system, I must say.

 

People selling accounts is kinda on them to be honest i gave them an idea a while back that could put an end or drastically reduce that issue but they didn't reply back. Seem like that don't care enough to actually do something.
In Toram's earlier days it was so much easier to progress now is hard a hell to make spina unless you have a blacksmith which in it self is a pain and takes time to build up. i feel sorry for the newbies, especially those that have a job and can't spend a lot of time on Toram's boring repetitive, grinding, that will make you sleepy after like 5 mins. Having to be restricted to making a mage so that you can be invited to a farming party and with boss parties now only inviting you if your tank or archer. Luckily you get invited and not kicked if using DW. Sorry but Toram lost my interest a long time ago i really just logging to make food for guild, check board then logout.

 

The things u buy with orbs doesn't really affect ur progress in toram so where is the need to compare it to GI.

I don't had a problem on progressing in game even tho. I never had a blacksmith. I had a job and I barely play the game, but I was still fine on getting new gears. I also don't really grind unless I really want something in game. I had never build a tank or an archer but still invited on boss parties. I think the problem is on you, not on the game.

 

Like what @Amaymon said it's actually not necessary for new players to farm that much spina to buy equips be able to complete MQ and do lvling to cap, or make a blacksmith crafter/statter for spina source. Making a luk farmer is most likely the most efficient way for newbies to earn spina, but you don't need to farm that much spina to get decent equips, 300k-500k spina worth of equips is already good enough, if you feel bored with farming mobs you can easily multi task and do farming while watching videos. FangRaid even made some very low budget builds on youtube that are already good enough even on high difficulty event boss. With the new mercenary system newbies can now get help from their friends' and/or guildmates' OP attacker or tank mercenary for free, which made completing the main quest or farming bosses without tank even easier.

The only bad point for newbies is when they intend to play toram alone without any veteran friends and/or guild mates to give them advice, which usually results in making several mistakes. But if they viewed the guides in this forums first and did their own research carefully any newbie starting from scratch can easily get the best and most latest +S 1s equipments after around 2 months of playing, without having to spend real money, or even less depending on how much time they decide to spend.

 

The system can be improve a bit maybe by maxing the limit to 240 and/or reducing the cost of the required resin for dungeons and bosses. I really sont see the P2W idea. I haven't spent a dime and currently at adventure rank 34 with 4 main characters at level 58, with most their artifacts maxed, and weapons at level 60 and another 4 side characters that were test characters being at lvl 30-40, and I only have been playing a week.

Either people are trying to rush the game and are draining their resources to quickly or are badly managing the time they spent with certain activities in the game. During my time playing i haven't really ran out of Resin until i tried spam dungeons to get certain artifacts or Mora (which was a waste since some quests and chest offered Mora) When my resin ran low when trying to ascend a character or weapon use 1 of the 8 Fragile Resin i had and continued farming for the ascend materials which didn't take to many tries since your able to make upgraded versions with the lower ascend materials you get. when trying ascend another character you would need to wait until certain days which i enough time to get you resin replenished. since it only takes 16 hours and i know if busy with work and have to sleep that time is not hard to cope with.

 

Bro have you even played Genshin Impact? You don't even need to spend a dime in the game to progress unless your anxious and trying to rush everything

I know I'm not the only one that has been seeing issues with the people being judgmental on what classes they want in their party otherwise i would not have pt leaders constantly ask "What class" and seeing people making jokes about waiting 20+ minutes for a party with other classes and then getting invited instantly if using tank, mage, or archer

Luckily i use an archer now since Asobimo ruined DW so recent invite to boss parties have not been a hassle when i went to hit the level cap

 

There has many things u can complain about the devs., but imo these game was one of the most f2p game in mobile & gives a bunch of free orbs or items. So I can't really understand this part.

It has nothing to do with you not really understanding it but about misunderstanding what i stated. No where in there did i say Toram was P2W i just say they are greedy. Their Potum darts weekly rewards, and chest gives you trash items or insignificant amount is mats. If they gave super rare drop xtal (25% version), fairy tool, rev droplet, drop rate/exp books instead then maybe. only reason they gave all 200 orbs was because of the server issue with people losing there character data being their fault. They were making money off of spins that people gambled on but never really looked into advancing their server even though they had multiple issues were server kept crashing until something bad had happened.

For example: For those that spend money, Genshin Impact has system where for each x10 you automatically get a 4* character/weapon regardless with a possibility in obtaining a 5* character/weapon and there is a pity system where over time after doing like 7-8, x10 spins you are guarantee a 5* character/weapon. (4* crafted/dropped weapons are still good)

Toram on the other hand does not reward their players this way. It is like they don't even care that you are providing them money to help them out. You do a x10 spin and get trash avatars, refinements, or piercers (or none at all). Like 3 years ago i suggested they they should looking into rewarding those who spend money on their game and all i got was the typical automated response. 3 years later still no change. They are greedy period.

I don't want to even go there otherwise i would have paragraphs to say and it would put my comment in the wrong thread since this thread isn't about DW. I played DW for 4.5 years an gave it up so did many others that were DW mains after a certain update

 

Ah I see, that's true those who pay for orbs & items, doesn't get valuable things in return. But my guess it's not greed, it's more like they just don't care.

I had an idea of the update u are talking about, but Its an old issue so it doesn't matter anyway.

At the end of the day, a pity system gives the illusion of better deal. True, you get a guaranteed high rarity item but it is always at 10th pull. You always have small chance of getting it before 10th pull, but if you're an unlucky bastard you'll only make that as an excuse. As for the potum darts in Toram, you must've been so unlucky to not get any of the item you mentioned? It's been giving orb shards, books, piercers since like-forever.

Greedy? Perhaps. But they're more oblivious to what the game really needs. Remember the age of tier 3 skills? Back at level 70 cap? What happened to bow users? Accessories? Bowguns do more shit than them and by a huge margin. But even they were outclassed when halberds and dual wield was released. The same can be said after tier 4 has been released. It's been a long time really, so get over it.

Regarding the gacha system of Toram, there isn't really a need to pull for avatars. However, I do agree that a pity system would've made it slightly better for the collectors. Unfortunately, even that will be abused. Yes, I'm talking about those shitty account sellers. Also, wanting everything to go the way you want, that is what we call greed.

 

Yeah that SC nerf is the only thing I can think of.

 

People ran into a wall after blowing straight through content? Sorry but thats nothing new to me, especially in a new f2p title. Resin does need its numbers tweaked though and knowing how Mihoyo it will most likely happen with/around the 1.1 update.
