    won't full agi dw damage be lacking? also how much luck is enough + light arm mastery to make it proc alot?

    I don't think this build will work.
    Reasons:
    1. Heavy armor reduces Dodge rate increment by 50% per Agi stat. So your Flee/Dodge will be low.
    2. Heavy armor also reduces ASPD increment rate per Agi stat, making ASPD lower than you expect, which means slower ampr for you.
    3. Full Agi without Crit rate and/or CRT means low HIT (accuracy), which means you will miss often. You need to land hits to generate aggro.
    4. No Vit stat and only using HP Boost + Hero Scarf + Roga crystal (total 3.7k HP) means you are sacrificing Additional Gear which can give +Guard%, +Eva%, +Vit% or +HP%
    5. You are not optimizing Guard and Evasion defense when you mix both. Low Guard and Evasion means you get hit often and damage reduction is also low.
    This translates to overall ineffectiveness of both your defenses.

    My pure DEX Bowgun Sniper (sorry I had to be specific -.-) evaded a lot just by using light armor and all Evade% equipment and xtal. I had no dodge / fee, and I still evaded a lot. Dodge / Flee has nothing to do with evade.

    Evade can be used to counter normal attacks, certain red zones, and crits.
    Dodge / Flee on the other hand, on work against normal attacks, and maybe certain red zones.

    Aside from @Mugami's test results, there are no documented data to show what stat aids / contributes to evade.

    Back on topic, @Islandi's comments on this build is spot on. A evade shield guardian is not quite viable in this game as it forces you to choose between guard rate or evasion rate.

    I'd say I'm sorry to be mean....but that would be lying. You not doing any intelligent thought or using the least shred of effort to test anything is bad enough but to come here and spout out the dumbest crap I've read in weeks (and that includes Trump quotes) and pass it off as fact....Thats freaking sad.


    Tell you what genius. I got 79 flee and evade 37% of all physical attacks. Tell me how right you are.

    While I got you here, does luck affect evade? Or not directly in the sense that it just bias the roll in your favor?

    Luck does affect Evasion & Dodge and Guard Rate. But the real question you are asking is, 'Is luck worth taking for [those skills]?'
    To that, I'd say, "No."

    While luck is a benefit to a lot of things, it's only real use is for drops. It is "the Jack of all trades and master of one". So don't use luck to try and Eva/guard tank mons unless the character's only use is as the luck support you use to farm xtals. Otherwise, pointless.

    Reason why I asked, is that at some point, it seemed DS should take LUK as third stat so they can benefit from Reflex + Full evade gear + LUK.

    What are your thoughts on this?

    Reflex Alone with Light armor and Mastery can make you evade 80% of the time without other evasion gears.

    Now to cover the OP:
    Wearing Heavy Armor = aspd AND Dodge reduction by 50% OF TOTAL.

    You will literally cut any dodge you have IN HALF.

    Heavy Armor mastery increases Gaurd Rate /Power by +10 (its a flat increase do it goes to the base. So Heavy Armor + Heavy aermor mastery = +20 Guard Rate/Power

    As for Evasion, without light armor on, light armor mastery DOES NOT function. Same goes for heavy armor mastery.

    Without light armor mastery and light armor on the max possible evasion is (Base: Dodge up 10 [+5 eva, +10 Dodge], gear stats + xtals = X)

    And just an fyi: Reflex will half Guard Rate when used with heavy armor.

    So while the thought is a nice one, the reality of it is harsh. Short answer: No.

    You might want to do a 100 hit test and check the results. I think You may have been lucky or did too small of a sample.

    Reflex 10 will double your base. Originally, it did double your total tho. So maybe you just need to retest because of updates.

    Currently, the highest Eva can get is 78% (with reflex) with parry 10, parry will effectively increase your Eva range to 86%. (well, 84.084) then a small increase to 88.452% @ lvls 41-80. (I average it to 86%).

    Dodge Up increases:
    • Dodge by +1(to base) per rank.
    • Evasion by +1% (to total) per 2 ranks.
    At lvl 80 both are doubled.
    At lvl 120 both are tripled.
    160= ×4
    200 = ×5
