What is a farm mage?
Farm mages is like what its name suggests , a mage dedicated to farming , utilizes and takes advantage of two stuffs which is storm (undisputed best aoe skill) and LUK stat (increases drop rate)

Let us make this quick n ez and now move on to the main part:

Level : 70+ (it isn't necessarily required to cap your char since you can level up through farming , but the higher the level the better ofc)

Ideal matk : 800 - 900 (enough to 1hit n.roar) for casual monsters
1200 matk (staff equipped) for boss mat farming

Stats : approx 100-120 int(enough to get to the ideal matk assuming you're using i7m7 stats on your arm and md) and rest luk (total stat point as of now : 285 , which leaves you around 160-185 luk) for casual monster hunting.
160-180 int for boss hunting.
(Stat priorities : money> luk >matk > cspd > mana > going broke)

Spoiler: Equipments

Weapon : Jade Wings, Anniv III, or Empress player crafted MD with i7m7 or i7m7i10 stats , Empress Boss Drop is good too (gives +500 cspd) ,
Elemental MDs are good too (but take note that "only" if you're dedicated to a single type of farming)
Anniv III or Folium Staff with i7m7i10 stat for bossing
Elemental staves are very welcome for boss farming
(Refine as high as possible)

Armor : Any player crafted with i7m7 , Magicswordsman garb is ok too ( gives + 400 or was it 500? Cspd and int+2%)

Additional : Cat-earhood boss drop (+300cspd +2%matk and 100MP) Or bondage-eye patch (although curled horns are great for stability for staves , it isn't the same case for MD) , Mining Bag (+1%drop)

Special Gear : Philo Ring

XTALS : I don't really recommend investing alot on xtals INT+2 and MP+150 are enough , but if there's one thing I'd totally recommend it is sunlight potum (gives 300 cspd) and maybe the potum xtal for Special gears (gives 1% drop rate).

Combos :
When farming in an shut tight area where in mobs spawn are very compressed (i.e. Skeletons and Shell masks) use :
Storm -> MP charge (swift)
(To avoid the situation where in your pt mates killed the mob you targeted before you are able to perform storm)

When farming in an area where in mobs spawns that aren't that compressed use :
Impact -> Storm (cons) -> MP charge (swift)
If you cannot 1hit use :
Impact -> Storm (smite) -> MP charge (swift)
(using impact will allow you to reduces the mp costs of storm by half and allows you to order the mob to go to your location without moving yourself.)

When farming in an uneven ground and there's only 1 good spot to kill them all together (i.e stone soldiers) , set :
Target monsters to 'near' , go to that good spot and use: Storm - MP charge (swift)

Why make a farm mage?
Unlike other jobs in toram , a farm mage allows you to have a constant source of income, It wouldn't give you loss at all. It is also very easy and affordable to make one.

Let's talk about money
How much does luk mages actually earn? Ill try to enumerate as much farmable items as possible, state their farming time, price, selling time and a general overview about it , so you could have a general idea of how much luk mages actually earn.

Nightmare Crystals (Nightmare Roar)
Farming time : 6-8stcks an hour (Full storm)
Avg. Price : 70k/4stcks , 30k -35k ea stk @cb
Selling Time : Always in demand
Overall : Easy 100k an hour , easy party , easy lief

Damascus Ore (Stone Soldier)
Farming Time : 4-7 stcks an hour (Full storm)
Avg. Price : 35k ea stck
Selling Time : Fairly moderate to long (sells easily on CB)
Overview : excluding the selling time , you could be earning 140k - 245k worth of dama ore per hr , but unfortunately only a handful of people farm here.

Mino Skin (Minotaur)[Boss]
Farming Time : 1stck per 1h - 1h&20min (Hard difficulty, 1 partner or leech w/ 2 constant breaks & avg. 7 runs or more in a span of 5 min)
Avg Price : 200k per mino stck, (could be turned in to lefina for anti degs, 3skin : 1 antideg) 650k-700k per Anti Deg stck
Selling Time : Fairly moderate - to long (just wait for someone at shout buying for this)
Overview : Good income even for non-luk characters , but luk mages make mino skin farming a breeze, averaging 8-10skins per 10 runs as compare to the 5-8skins per 10 runs of non luk characters

Bird wing (Beak)
Farming Time : 40-60 stcks an hour
Avg. Price : 20k/4stcks - 25k/4stcks
Selling Time : Time dependant , takes long to sell during the day ,most people buy this @ night or midnight JST
Overall : kinda hard to get a decent pt, but the money is great so it is worth it to keep a few stcks in your storage. 100 stcks = 500k

Flower Nectar (??) (To be tested)
Farming Time : 1 - 3 stks an hour
Avg. Price : 15k per stck
Selling Time : Good to moderate
Overall : ??

Roga Belt (Roga)[Boss]
Farming Time : 4-6 hours per stk
Avg. Price : 4k per piece , 450k per stk
Selling Time : Always In Demand
Overall :
(To add some more in the future)(in case you know more farmable stuff , dont hesitate to tell me so i could at it here)

Full LUK good?
Bad for solo , good if you're in a pt and bad for your fellow party mates. Full Luk mages while having a good amount of drop rate suffers from very low matk which makes them unable to kill mobs in 1 hit , making the amount of monsters killed reduced to half. It is good when you're leeching in a pt but your fellow pt members will suffer due to lower kill count.

If possible 'TRY' to invest on 30 day tickets.

Spam potum darts daily in order for you to have a chance to get some books that gives 50%/100% drop rate for a limited amount of time.

When encountering a bulk buyer , don't hesitate to ask them to add you on their friend list , it might possibly save you more time in looking for a potential buyer next time.

98pcs/stk are generally harder to sell than 99pcs/stk

Selling @Consignment Board will generally help you earn more and especially with the new 5 additional slots on cb , which gives you 10 total slots.

and alas always Farm according to the meta right now , always checks for farmable stuffs that are in demand.

Let me suggest you 2 things
1. Process Material skill at level 10 (Fast Discard and don't need to switch char for more Mats)
2. Magic Mastery at level 10 (more M.Attack and Faster C.Speed)
