Ranger Class Build

Both, (Dnt make those fishy questions lol xDDDD). If you pull aggro inevitably you will get hit at some point, so both.

 

Please define "shitty" all you've been doing is looking down upon archers,
1st of all they have an aoe which if you had a full pt of archers, kills as much as mages and you'll lose less HP if done correctly,
2nd Archers do get rankings on bosses, most of the time they get the top DPS
3rd Mages takes no skill, putting down wall and repelling mobs is easy as 1, 2, 3
4th I would blame your inexperience of playing archer and not correctly building your archer for how you look at archers
I find your comments on this post extremely rude when this post is just a suggestion on how to build a archer, please keep in mind that Kime takes a lot of time and effort replying to comments about his threads, most are satisfied, you're left out

 

Well I have revamped the guide with Up to date information, including things that Asobimo themselves have provided information on.

Bad class meaning that it doesnt have a specific role atm to be suitable for current game aspect. Dps cant compete, break cant compete, tank cant compete. As kime said , its a class made for pvp.
1)The fact that u gotta strain 'as much' shows how much of a class it is.

2)Dps ranking? Cant compete with a mage

3)Mage is easy, well that doesnt really disregard the fact that archer arent as good.

LASTLY i was upset about the post because i followed exactly the build kime stated and found a lot of flaws, so u cant blame my build. And thought the flaws were due to it being pvp specced. Until kime kindly updated the guide and explained thoroughly.
Anyway quit being someone elses i ve got my own opinion and i am glad kime's open for judgement in a kind matter.

 

Lmfao please go pt up with a real archer against ooze, lets see how well it does against your mage,

It depends on how you use your character, lets see who farms better at fire resistance cloth

There are many pros and cons about different classes, it's just that you're clouded by your prospective and ignorance of experience.

 

Mages too,are good to if played in a good position.
Most idiots just stand next TO THE TANK and launch attacks like retarded idiots.
Plus,mages are always made to do high damage.You can dominate PvE without any skill.Bossing is a different story.
So please,just go back to your cave,@SAYA.

Please keep in mind that your argument that archers are a bad class that doesn't have any good points. He also pointed out that most people who play mages can't play properly.

 

You clearly haven't delved into the game enough if you don't understand the mechanics and significance of the archer class. Please keep your language clean, further infringements of the rules will result in a suspension of posting rights.

i think you forgot the important aspect of a game play, which is strategy, you prolly sucked cus you dint have a good strategy going :/
you can have the best build in the world w the best equips but that isnt gonna mean anything if you dont know how to use it.

I think you guys dont even know what you are all talking about .
Uhh i dont see how having strategy can make ur breaking ability/tanking efficiency go up. Everything is based off of technical design. Because the game system is based on four specific element - which is breaker/tank/attacker/support.

And currently the games goal is to non-stop grind for gears. Please let me clarify 'grind' rather than beating tough bosses. And in order to grind for these gears rank 1 is a must. Hence again saying archer class falls behind on the 4 roles.

 

I'll bet you 5 mil my archer will out dps, tank and break any of your characters. My choice of boss, and my archer has no enhanced gear, nor xtals. if I don't get 2 out of 3 ranking the 5 mil is yours. supporter doesn't count

 

Sure mizzy, please enlighten me. Ur archer is probably lv 65, i am guessing? But id like to see it out tank and break.
Oh and dont choose like the colon boss and say u out dps my mage after you auto attacked it before i manage to cast anything.

Just for the record,@Kimesato uses multiple builds on his hunter derived from this build.
Namely,Single target DPS,Farming DPS,Spike DPS,a Blacksmith and an Alchemist,and his main,which is pure Bossing.
So "we don't know what we are talking about" is a highly ironic phrase which you are using, @SAYA.

 

Too bad her archer is a lvl 63, and I bet the reason why you chose the colon boss is because of its low hp and you know you would win, go play with the ooze with mizzy and let's see what happens.

 

So I tried Kimes buils too and it didn' really worked for me as well. At least i got the feeling, i am pretty sure i didn't played it correctly so i'd love to see one of the archer of you guys in a boss fight to see what potential the build has

 

This is just a suggestion on how to build an archer, your play style and kime's may be different, so your not at fault. Also kime said he would be making videos of his archers soon

 

Maybe those who followed the build have some issues setting their Combos since its not included in Kimes guide. Yeah you have the skill build,stat and equipments but without a good combos you wont be getting what the build is providing you. Thats why maybe some people feels that the build aint working for them.
