i mean inside the battle, is it worth to take sober analysis instead 10 lvl of MP charge ? yeah its faster to charge when outside but, when inside the battle HB usually lack of MP management and it pain me lol

 

My assault attack keeps landing me in a lot of trouble. Maybe I'm not understanding it's functionality in the combo properly? But it doesn't really seem to do much damage, have a very good chance of slowing, and just kinda throws me into random red circles.

 

Oh yes it is a typo, it's suppose to be 230, typed one instead. My God how much damage would a 130 halb do ,shame on me XD

 

Thank you for the info! And u we're so right, also in rats stat build he put in str agi and vit but is it better if i put other stats like after I max str I put all in agi? Because I don't really want the hp. Also is it worth getting shell break cus sometimes I run out of mp when using too much burst combo. Sorry so much questions, I feel so nooby XD

VIT is optional. There may be certain bosses or difficulties for which you do want more HP. But taking Iconos crystal, HP Boost skill, using Vita Plus, and maybe grabbing a cheap Forehead Protector (1500) can all replace VIT except for the few things that hit super high, like Empress laser beams on NM/Ultimate. Your character, your choice.

Shell break is... also optional. It should go in a 1 MP combo as the Save skill, though maybe you would want to have two 1 MP combos then so war cry can be in one. Fortunately, you will have enough combo openers to not worry about that problem. Alternatively, you could invest in AMPR. Shell break fits skill points well (if you don't do DW skills or extra dagger skills, I think you only have to sacrifice a couple points in ATK UP or Intimidating Power to get lv 10 Shell Break), so it's perfectly fine to get it if you think it would fit your playstyle.

Also, 100 lower Weapon ATK would lower ATK by about 350 (not sure on Halberd Mastery formula). I don't know the Strike Stab damage formula, but that could lower your damage by up to around 20%, probably less than that.

 

Would never use forehead protector for this, halberds need the flat critical from gothic hat very badly.
Lvl125+ allows you to get 1000HP/20VIT for max lvl HP boost so 70VIT can replace both ico and forehead, that allows me to add ifrid xta instead as well.

 

For a nightmare gem run of a recent boss (not sure why), it might be helpful to have forehead anyway. It all depends on the content TheEnder typically does. Normal bosses hardly require any HP investment... On normal, I use no item, no crystal, HP boost, and a 600 HP avatar I got from the free fairy tools, usually no vita plus.

 

Tapir, zolban, imitacia, imitator, most of the new bosses actually all of them can kill 4k hp chars even on normal mode.
Its just that they bosses themselves die pretty quickly too thats why no one cares.
Nightmare run its even more not recommended as you wont even hit anything because of the loss of crit

 

Yeah, I'll get shell break instead of putting the skills on the extra dagger skills. I'll have to do more combo point training to get two 1mp combos also what do u mean by "100 lower Weapon Atk"?

 

Your typo about 230 instead of 130 attack on a halberd. You wondered how much it would change your damage. 100 weapon atk gets multiplied by the formula for refinement and also gets a multiplicative bonus from Halberd Mastery, so it is from about 15 to 20% damage to have a weapon that much weaker... something like that, not completely sure on the calculation.
