Regarding Tenryu Ransei

In case boss tumble you: won't happen if you're invincible! owo)b
In case allies tumble boss: rage at ally.

 

I totally forgot about that annoying moment when your party stun or tumble boss just as you're about to parry...

I can see lots of failed Tenryuu zannou in future already

 

while archer and mage getting more powerful with the released lv4 skills, while here katana is getting more harder to inflict damage *sigh*

 

Guess while other weapons took steroids....
Katana accidentally took Viagra.

 

Or you know... You can use this skill called MAGADACHI whose requirement is to NOT get hit essentially being better if party is tumbling bosses.

 

But Tenryuu 4stk on zantei gives better dmg than on magadachi right?
Or so I thought it should

 

They both do exactly the same damage. Only difference is that zantei is comboable so can be smited while maga cant. Havent really found any problem honestly tenryu does decent damage as well while stacking and I still have hasso. Those 3 more than enough to do damage if the party is tumbling. Theres also garyou for extra damage.

 

Alright, but it's ok to only put 5 pts on magadachi right? As long as Tenryuu is 10

 

5 is enough yes. Only difference is the amount of mp recovered in case you do get hit and the damage dealt when tenryu is not on.

so is tenryu an unsheathe skill?
also, is it better to max tenryu to lv 10 or not?

Yes it is unsheathe and yes it needs to be lvl10 if you want to use it as a dps skill.

 

So basically the best way to use tenryuu is
Tenryuu > Maga > Tenryuu x4 > Maga

I love this new challenge the dev made for katana honestly. Pushing you to focus in fight and giving more thrill than just mundane 1 button push = high dmg skill

 

thats why i like katana tbh, and now theyre released the lv4 skills, katana is more "challenging" but hey.. now theyre giving those previlege of one button = high damage to mage and archer now lol

 

And 2handeds...and halberds.... And knux.....
Well basically every class now has that privilege, with the exception of katana.
Which will decrease the interest in them.

Actually, i like this new ktn playstyle.
Tired of trying to become an OP player,(which i never become).

 

so beside motion speed modifier and unleashing zannou after maga/zantei, could tenryu buff's do anything else?
like increasing dmg perhaps?

 

It gives (10 + 10*Stack)% amount of attack accuracy as well that can significantly reduce graze in certain cases.

 

But I need the guard break more than invincibility... So i can directly use Garyou....
