Snipe Dmg on Pure Archers?

I learned alot from this o.o I need a Bow to test these out because my tumble still works for my WBG Using Impact Sniper Build

 

She referred to Power Shot's tumble effect, this one won't work with bowgun or has an extremely low chance to work.
Tumble effect from Impact will work with anything you equip and will always have 70% chance of tumbling.

Ok so my latest tests so far on a bow and archer focusing solely on shot skills only.

Bow archer current lvl :72
67k smited at crabbie
49k smited at BB gob ( I believe this could go higher, just need to keep testing on the probability of dmg drop off as bows tend to have more stable dmg compared to guns)
27k on save combo on BB gob ( this is also a consistent kind of 20k running on 1mp combo) (non impact)
47k smited on monger ( also looking for it to go higher)

Do take note though, that the dmg dealt depend also on party set up and damage drop off so it may vary from being higher or lower depending on the situation.

So far the equips i have tested out are handmade by yours truly lmao. I have got a variety of things I am testing out right now and I don't run on a full crit armor either.
I still have 2 more equip set ups to go through (once I finish hunting mats that is). Will keep you posted on the best possible set up for dps focused archers.

Thanks to my guildies for quickly doing this with me. (Secretly sneaks this in here) I love you guys? LOL
On a rough ratio of 10 battles. 4 /10 ranks were taken by me. ( the times I didn't, I ranked like 2nd to 4th LMAO!)
This tested with a +6 bow (I'm the lazy refiner kind of person) & crafted armor, while all of them were also fully equipped with player crafted items and xtals.

The cool thing about bows that you cannot find on guns is stability in damage. While a bow may do a significant lower number, it is consistent and dependable.

For example out of 3 snipes on a bow you may do, 30k on 2 shots and 20 something on another, while a gun may do huge dmg on one snipe and the next could totally troll the f**k out with baby dmg. ( hence I prefer fw over mhb for bows and mbg over wbg for guns)
Another note to take as I was in a pt with full snipes for this particular test, stability in consistent damage would get you places. Damage drop off is also a very useful thing to learn if you are an archer because it helps not only in boosting your damage but can work the other way around towards party too if you plan on being mean haha.

Remember though that being an archer is not all only focused on snipe and being best dps. Being that is cool if it's your cup of tea, but there are so many ways to learn it and ways to work around it so results are in your favor. Playing as a team is always better than just focusing on just one kind of play style because then everyone is maximizing their capabilities during a battle for better drops and efficient play which is more fun imo. My two cents anyways.

 

Last night I was at WM with Phelicia, Hannie and Aiko, her bow was doing very nice damage vs the bowgun power.
I wonder what's her current combo.

 

Hi @Kariin. Waking this thread up a little to keep our snipe records as we gain lvls
So here are my latest tests so far with full archer equip thus far. I finally got around to not being lazy and crafting my equips.

Snipe record on pure archer no impact
Archer lvl : 90 ( pure dex)
Equips : Crafted gear and an assortment of xtals
Roga : 92k
Pillar golem : 104k
Mauez : 86k
Warmonger : 56k ( can't seem to stay alive longer for bigger numbers on this one )
Bb Gob : 74k
Will try GK soon. I hate that guy T____T. I'm still pretty much a glass canon on my build. Can't seem to want to get a roga xtal or put hp points atm.

This is it so far. Can't wait to see more archers spring out on Toram.

For some reason my dmg at crab sucks LMAO
My gunner guildies usually beat me to it and that guard troll snipes >__<.
Usually work on 1mp combos too coz mp charging is a bum lol.
Can't wait till you reach cap for updates ^_^

 

Your stat make up would prolly do a ton more based on cdmg equip lol at cap.
I'm itching to reset just to test out str/dex mish mash. Sounds pretty awesome.
