Hello, have not touched Toram since like forever… sorry about the late replies. If nothing major has changed in the world of Toram… then

PS: note I'm using examples of level 80 Blacksmiths (since my time got frozen then) so it's not up to date with current max level blacksnmiths.

    - Negative Stats
    > Blacksmiths add negative stats only to get back potential on their equipments, with more potential, they can then use those potential points on other stats (that was previously rendered not possible)

    Example A.
    > Dex Blacksmith of level 80 creates a Bowgun of Pot 47 (no stats)
    > Using a player lvl 80 Blacksmith, adds a stat of Natural Mp -2%, gains 21pot
    > Garb of 47pot + 21pot becomes 68pot.

    - A full guide of BS (Stats and skill levels)
    > I honestly have not seen the forums or play the game and totally have zero clue on what the current level cap is right now. But I think Mr Toramwasmyidea provided a link that should be useful :)

    - How stats and potential works
    > Any player Blacksmith crafted equipment have Potential Points and no stats (less Attack). Player Blacksmiths have to then add Stats into their crafted equipment and doing so consumes potential points.

    Example B.
    > Vit Blacksmith of level 80 creates a Garb of Pot 47 (no stats)
    > Using a player Blacksmith, adds a stat of Str 2, uses 10pot
    > Garb of 47pot - 10pot becomes 37pot.

    - Success Rates
    > Success rates of Create Equipment is determined by the 1. Blacksmith Proficiency Level, 2. Tech stat and 3. Level of Create Equipment Skill
    > Success rates of Refining Equipment is determined by: 1. Tech stat and level of 2. Equipment Refinement Skill
    > Success rates of Upgrade Equipment (Adding Stats) is determined by: 1. End Potential at the end. Refer to this --> Click Me.

    - When to put Tec
    > Players usually have another character to make a Tech Blacksmith. Tech is a personal stat and is available when your character reaches lvl 40.
*when we can max a stat (which is probably now), blacksmiths can have the options of adding another stat or adding Tech.

    Hello,

Nope it does not. Blacksmith Prof only affects the success rates of Create Equipment. The success rate of Upgrading Equipment however, is determined by the End potential at the end. ---> Refer to this --> Click Me.
*The level of your blacksmith does not affect the success rates of Upgrade Equipment, it does however affect the maximum/minimum stats you can add (for Tech Blacksmiths) and the amount of potential your created equipment has (Creating EQ Blacksmiths)
*Tech also does not affect success rates of Upgrade Equipment

Refining Equipment is however affected by Tech stat.

Not that I know of. From what I know it's a superstition (unless it's some shiny new feature in the game…)

Sorry. I have a question here. I am having difficulty understanding the part on adding stats. Does your equipment only need 45 pot in order to put c999 on it if the pot required to put critical costs 9 pot, critical % 9 pot, and critical damage costs 27 pot?

Yes, based on the list, C999 should cost a total of 45pot, as you mentioned. BUT, in Toram, when you add stats belonging to the same stat tree, there is a penalty of more potential consumption. It's at the bottom of the list, under the '*' points :). This results in C999 costing way more than 45pot when you add all three stats in a single step.
Should you wish to add C999, add the three stats in three separate steps (adding the stat that consumes the most potential first), doing so consumes less potential. Refer to this earlier post --> Click Me.

To further add on, the stat trees are:
    - Enhance Stats
    - Enhance HP/MP
    - Enhance Attack
    - Enhance Defense
    - Enhance Accuracy
    - Enhance Dodge
    - Enhance Speed
    - Enhance Critical
    - Enhance Elements
    - Special Enhancements
    - Awaken Elements

Similar to the grouping already in place in-game.
