Dual Wield Lvl 3 Skills Explanation

    Phantom Slash (400 MP)
    Multi Hit Skill that when cast, after first 2 hits, makes you invulnerable for the duration of the Skill.

    Situations When To Use
    Since Damage ranges from being at par with Twin Slash on Smite and to much more powerful. The use of this skill is situational. Favorable situations to use this is when enemy is near death, unable to escape a redzone AOE attack, and to possible avoid a fatal attack​

    Shadow Step (400 MP - 300 MP - 200 MP)
    When activated, quickly travels behind the enemy and does an attack similar to an evasion when there is no skill used after activation. When there is a skill used after activation of Shadow Step, Enhances the next skill's Crit Rate and performs that skill instead of an Evasion Attack
    Increases AMPR, Similar to Trigger Slash
    Increases Critical Rate of next skill used
    Cast Range Increases at Lvl 4 and Lvl 8

    Situations When To Use
    This is your forced, on-cast Evasion Attack if there is no skill to follow up, or a skill to possibly set up your next skill/combo, and re positions you to safer area to attack.
    Cast When you want a gap closer, when you want to quickly escape a narrow redzone attack, when you want to utilize that crit buff on your next skill

    Flash Blast (200 MP)
    Increases Unsheathe Attacks for a short time.
    Unsheathe attacks occur on First Attach, Evasion Attack, Twin Slash, Charging Slash and Spinning Slash.
    Flash Blast duration for all levels is 2 minutes / 120 seconds (c) @Islandi

    Situations When To Use
    Use Sparingly, at the start of battle, and when you get the chance in battles

    Updated Charging Slash (300 MP)
    Now counts as an Unsheathe Attack

    Situations When To Use
    When you want a quick disengage, use mid combo or on end of combo. Good damage when maxed and used right, can clear area mobs when side mobs are present.

    Updated Cross Parry (100 MP)
    Atk and Aspd Increases when Cross Parry Buff is on effect
    Atk increase per level is 0.95%
    Aspd Increase per level is 0.90%
    (Calculation Based on Base Value taken before Buff appears and Value when buff is present.)
    Buff Value = (Buffed Value - Base Value) / Skill Level​

    Situations When To Use
    Use when you are confident enough. Best when used after casting Shadow Step or when redzone is being cast and you are not inside redzone.

    Dont forget Cross Parry gives Atk&Aspd buff for 30secs.

    How long does the buff on Cross Parry last? at lvl 1 it only stays for a few seconds

    It only appears and stays when you tumble the target.

    Update: After testing multiple times on three different assumptions of when Buff to ATK and ASPD stays.
    Assumption 1
    When you tumble the enemy​
    Assumption 2
    When you cast the Skill successfully​
    Assumption 3
    When you succeed to reduce damage taken on the next attack, while casting Cross Parry.
    Cross Parry is hugely a situational skill.

    Results:
    Assumption 1 is wrong
    tumble rate increases per level, but does not occur when enemy is tumbled. ​
    Assumption 2 is wrong
    Cast or not, hit or not, does not matter.​
    Assumption 3 is correct
    I have done this multiple times, enemy normal attacks and physical redzone attack damage get reduced when you cast this skill before the enemy's attack lands. Hit or Not, tumble or not, Buff stays on if you successfully reduce the next damage you take while casting cross parry.​

    Update: Charging Slash Damage compared to Previous Charging Slash
    Previous Damage on Maxed Charging Slash and Current Damage on Maxed Charging Slash without Godspeed is the same.
    Since the addition of the attribute to Charging Slash where it is now counted as an unsheathe attack.

    It is better to max out Godspeed since it increases Unsheathe attack damage.
    Current damage on Maxed charging Slash with Unsheathe attack is stronger by 50% compared to Damage on Maxed Charging Slash without Godspeed.

    Update: Flash Blast

    Flash Blast is best when Partnered with Maxed Reflex.
    Unsheathe attacks are increased by % per level of Flash Blast. increasing Unsheathe Attack Damage. (Percentage increase will not be disclosed yet)
    Unsheathe Attacks Come from Evasion Attacks, Shadow Step Evasion Attack, Twin Slash, Spinning Slash and Charging Slash.

    Worth getting? Definitely, only if you are building on Dual Sword Skills and not relying much on Blade Skills.

    Conclusion:

    Upon Releasing all DS Skills til Tier 3.
    All I can say is that DS should be built around Utility, Survivability and not solely for Damage.

    Twin Slash is one of your Main Damage Skills, hence the increased CDMG for the Skill
    Spinning Slash with its Knockback and blind is a good CC Skill over all. Forcing enemies away and blinding them at the same time.
    Cross Parry, now with it's ATK and ASPD Buff, is a good counter mechanic when used skillfully.
    Charging Slash, a high damage line skill, good for boss soloing with multiple side mobs. Damage can most likely kill on the spot the side mobs.
    Shadow Step best utility skill in the game, Forced evasion, repositions you behind the enemy, can make for a good gap closer, increased ampr similar to trigger slash buff, a buff to the next skills crit rate. talk about value for mp used.
    Phantom Slash, Multi hit skill, deals tons of damage, and invulnerability while in animation. now that's worth the risk of getting one shot. seriously, i literally use this to dodge those one shots from minibosses.

    Playstyle should revolve around Utility. High Risk, High Reward Skill Set.
