Dual Wield Lvl 3 Skills Explanation

you haven't tested the charging slash yet? i thought you wanted to build around charging slash before?

Allow me some time to draft down my thoughts. I might cover a few other points or areas besides the skills.

 

I did tho it doesnt fit for 1mp saver combo thats why i deleted it when it was lvl65. I was looking for consistent dmge and dw tempest is wht i came up. The DoT from tempest is nice for a full dex dw. It crits 2-4k+. I might just take a look on your vids on the new DW skill. Too lazy to make some test.

 

I will make some in time. i need to power level my toon first to lvl 70 to get the best results. tho some skills will be only level 5. dont wanna waste time capping on a test toon too

 

okie dokes. i might have missed some points on usage and skill effects. im basing thing now on what i have found out.

i do have a question tho. i cant go on line yet coz phone is dead. how fast does it cast the combo?

 

Combo is 4secs if i use rampage smite as my closer. but if i use HH/Spiral as my closer 5secs.
I have posted my vid on my guide tho. here's the vid of my DW Tempest. (i like it because of the consistent dmge of DoT from tempest)

Basically with the combo im using againts BBGOB i could hit 25k+ for a 1bar saver combo

 

OOOOOH WAIT. I also have made a build for this on my other thread! except i use Swift Spinning Slash. MORE NUMBERS FLYING!

 

Cool. i never thought that you have this kind of build aswell. Can i have a link? I dont use spinning slash i hate the knockback effect.

It was called Unstoppable DPS Build. im ok with Spinning Knocking back the enemy since the Tempest was castable from ranged. ooooh the numbers!

UPDATE:
Flash Blast.

It literally does a fucking Blast like impact everytime you dodge. Hooray Eva built DWs. You'll now be the Third Hokage, Yellow Flash, Yondaime. Instead of just being Kirito.

It does 3 ticks of damage scaling off atk and is affected by CDMG.

Aside from your regular evasion attack, it does this cool ass explosion with range of 3m. Yes 3m, same with impact on MDs.

Will update more on this after testing

My thoughts on DW and its skills. It reads like a guide though. LOL.

1. Nature and Types of Attacks / Skills
All the attack skills from other skill trees deal direct (straight-line) attacks without integrating any defenses or survivability-enhancing capabilities. Dual Wield skills differ from those kind of attacks because they don’t just have straight-line attack(s), there are also evasion and counter-attacking capabilities built-in, with good utilities, passives and buffs.

2. Unique strengths of Dual Wield given by skills
Dual Wield has unique strengths which other builds and trees do not have.
They are:

1. High evasion capability
2. Integration of attacks and defenses
3. Repositioning
4. High AMPR capability

3. Tactics, Strategies and Player Personality
Taking into account points #1: Nature and Types of Attacks / Skills) and #2: Unique Strengths of DW, we put together these components to form various tactics and strategies for different play styles.

No matter which tactic or strategy we form, we always keep these in mind:

1. Manipulating distances between enemy and your character for attacks and avoiding taking damages
2. Types of scenarios and mobs
3. Your play style - are you more aggressive or are you balancing attacks with utilities and buffs?

Your preferred play style very much depends on your personality.
Are you a person who:

1. Likes to be aggressive with attacks
2. Sticks close to enemies and deal damage in melee range
3. Prefers to put distance between your character and the enemy to avoid attacks & AoEs
4. Loves to manipulate distances and reposition constantly to confuse enemies and make their attacks obsolete

Which of the above are you? If not, then how do you like to play a character which has high evasion, mobility, counter-attack and ampr capabilities?
