6th tier skill ideas

    Lets share ideas of 6th tier skills,

    I think a good 6th tier magic skill could be called Magic:Judgment and its activation range is 24 meters and its base damage formula is ((current matk * 3,000)) and it is instant cast and has instant motion time and costs 600mp, and although it is extremely powerful it has an inherent negative 50% magical pierce, and to have a 3 second invincibility per cast the skill user's staff needs to be light element and the user needs to reach a minimum of 4,000 attack stat in addition to a minimum of 4,000 matk and a minimum of 150 total critical rate to activate the 3 second invincibility per cast.

    And for shot skills. I think a good 6th tier shot skill could be called Shot:Laser Beam and its activation range is 24 meters, and its base damage formula is ((current attack * 3000)) and it is instant cast and has instant motion time, and costs 600mp, and although it is extremely powerful it has an inherent negative 50% physical pierce, and to have a 3 second invincibility per use the skill user's bow/bowgun needs to be light element and the user needs to reach a minimum of 4,000 attack stat in addition to a minimum of 4,000 matk and a minimum of 200 total critical rate to activate the 3 second invincibility per use.


    those are my 6th tier ideas for magic and shot skills. Feel free to share your own 6th tier skill ideas

    Idk about 6th tier magic skills.
    But magic device is about to get it's very own advanced skill tree.
    Just like like dual sword and crusher advanced skill tree.

    That will make total only 3 main weapons in entire game to have Advanced main skill tree.

    Blade skill tree is more for 2hs than 1hs.
    So 1hs got 1st advanced skill tree in toram which is called Dual Swords skill tree.

    Even though martial skills seems to be meant for knuckle, it yet enables usage of other main weapons, that makes knuckle weak in its own martial skill tree.
    So that's why knuckle got 2nd advanced skill tree in toram called Crusher skill tree.

    And soon the 3rd Advanced skill tree in entire game will be meant for main magic device only.
    Since magic skills tree is more about Staff than Magic device.

    The invincibilities in these new skill ideas are extremely difficult to utilize because of the requirements to activate 3 seconds of invincibility per use they need 4,000 in both atk and matk and 150 critical rate if mage/200 critical rate if bow/bowgun, so it is justified for the invincibility to be 3 seconds long each use, essentially their unique version of Zannou, and yeah laser beam((cf 2.0 but with literal laser beams that instantaneously travels at 300 millions meters per second which is the speed of light itself towards the target instead of arrows)) from a distance of 24 meters even without the 3 second invincibility would still be neat

    I agree, no more i-frame skills, just make them utility and useful, not high damage or i-frame gimmicks. The game does not need more invincibility.

    More invincibility is a good thing, eventually asobimo will design a boss that will consistently deal Beyond 1,000,000 damage constantly and also spam guaranteed whole map unavoidable Absolute Stops and Absolute Stuns and Absolute Sleeps, which would mean your precious Max VIT and P Def etc would be rendered Absolutely Useless, and it is only inevitable that they will design such a boss sooner or later, and once they do, good luck trying to tank or even trying to survive the constant Beyond 1,000,000 damage on top of constant guaranteed whole map unavoidable Absolute Stuns and Absolute Stops and Absolute Sleeps every 5 seconds, both of which would always disable P Def and one shot even the best elite fully equipped and dedicated tanks/survivalists regardless of their Max VIT and their then rendered Absolutely Useless P Def lol

    there's no such advance thing on ohs skils cuz dual sword is like different kind of weapon set

    infact ohs already get proper treatment vs ths in blade skill tier 5 unlike tier 4 which is highly biased in tier 4 only for ths

    ohs blade t5
    -better shut out
    -weaker lunar (can catch up with aura blade cuz ths not synergy with aura blade opener)
    -perma buff aura blade
    -100% effect gladiate

    ths blade t5
    -normal shut out
    -better lunar
    -strong single buff aura blade
    -75% effect gladiate

    ds blade t5
    -shut out not working atm
    -same lunar blade in ohs (more weaker cuz main only)
    -very weak aura blade
    -25% effect gladiate

    OHS is more on jack of all trades which relies more on sub weapon what you want to play (sub md,shield,dagger,etc) and ds is more on likely sub category with different status allocation

    also its more like extension skill tree from martial+crusher / magic + md tree which it doesnt change the main core of the old skills tree sets unlike ds is not fully sync with blade with turn into utility skill only

    Give em bow's some no range iframe skill coz they needed that for so long, coz 1hp doesn't work on all bosses. ^_^

    You keep posting this and every time you do it never proves your point. XD

    Unless you've travelled through time, you cannot prove to me this is correct, you've just assumed this is going to happen, which doesn't mean you're right. If this never happens, your assumption is wrong and your conclusion doesn't hold water. You know what else would make you wrong? If they made attacks that can't be evaded with i-frames. But are you assuming this will happen? No. Until you can prove why i-frames are a good thing, I will hold that too many i-frames will just make the game state of Toram stale and bland. Soul Hunter makes every build bland since all of them revolve around it, theres no variation in gameplay.

    I agree. Instead of being "advanced tree", Crusher is more of an extension tree, while DS is an entirely separate tree.
    Imo, "advanced tree" is defined as an upgrade of the "basic tree", or one of higher level than the "basic tree" that can reduce the latter's usage down but can still sync with it. With that, neither Crusher nor DS can be called "advanced tree", as Crusher has too few skills to replace nor reduce the usage of Martial tree while mainly improve the performance of main knuckles, while DS tree completely changes the build style of the character.

    Even if Crusher can be considered as "advanced tree" for knuckles, the same can't be said for DS on OHS, since the 2 trees have many differences:
    - Crusher still allow you to use different sub-weapons without any bonus nor penalty; DS forces you to equip a 2nd OHS as sub-weapon or you will not be able to use DS skills at all (except those that allow other weapons, of course).
    - Crusher does no change to knuckle stat growth; DS changes the stat growth and even "unlock" 2 more hidden stats exclusive for them.
    - Crusher skills still use the same base dmg calculation; DS skills have their own base dmg calculation.
    - Crusher causes little to no change to stat allocation and gear build; DS changes the stat allocation and gear build completely from other OHS builds (DS focuses more on STR & AGI, while other OHS builds use STR & DEX).
    - Crusher can improve the overall performance of knuckles, both Martial skills and itself; DS - due to the stat changes and dmg calculation - makes its own skills strong while reducing the base power of anything that is not its own skills compared to other OHS builds (DS stats make the base dmg of all DS skills comparable to that of THS, but reduces the base dmg of all non-DS skills to about 60-70% of OHS because of lower ATK for the existence of subATK).

    Idk how other people define "advanced tree", but if we are to use that way of defining "advanced tree" then:
    - Knight tree is also "advanced tree" for OHS
    - Priest tree is also "advanced tree" for staff & OHS, and maybe also MD
    - Magic Blade tree is also "advanced tree" for OHS, THS, Knuckle & Bowgun
    - Wizard tree is also "advanced tree" for staff & md
    - Dark Power tree is also "advanced tree" for every weapon
    - Assassin tree is also "advanced tree" for OHS and HB
    - Hunter tree is also "advanced tree" for bow & bowgun
    - Ninja tree is also "advanced tree" for KTN, OHS, staff & md
    ...Unless one were to use "but they're not main weapon skills!" as an excuse

    Idk, most skills will be derived from Iruna anyway. I used to like this kind of topic but sadly am not that interested anymore.

    I have a challenge for you then, try to prove you can survive with just p def and max vit only against vlamm without killing vlamm for 30 minutes, if you can't do it then i am right that p def and max vit is useless against certain bosses, and that iframes are a good thing lol

    And try to post a video about surviving against vlamm Solo no party nor pet nor merc for 30 minutes straight for the entire 1 round and with 100% aggro on you using only max vit and p def only, noone has proven me wrong yet because they never took my challenge i offered in a certain soul hunter threads, you shall be the first challenger, and if you cannot successfully complete the challenge, then you are the one who is wrong, we are waiting *smug smile*

    And the deadline will be 24 hours, beyond that deadline and if you have not produced any video that shows that it is possible to survive against bosses such as vlamm for 30 minutes using only max vit and p def and nothing else within the deadline, i shall declare myself the victor of the argument *smug smile*

    Also just because they haven't made such a boss yet doesn't mean i am wrong in any way, because asobimo has already made bosses where p def and max vit is completely and absolutely useless which proves me right that there are already bosses in which iframes are necessary, vlamm being a prime example, and in the future bosses will be more vlamms but with consistent damages that goes beyond tank hp lol, and the reason why the bosses i said they will design would be inevitable is by taking a look at vlamm and concluding that future bosses would be like vlamm but with more mechanisms that would make the future vlamm inspired bosses 100% impossible to defeat without iframes, so i do have the basis of being right, next time do your research before you assert someone is wrong lol

    I agree with this, iframe makes the game bland. Why not add more utilities for each classes?

    for Magic skill or Wizard skill tree(if the devs decided to rework this skill tree)
    - Teleportation for a short distance (5 - 12m) deals aoe dmg in impact (this skill similar to Wizard class, wep orb, in Dungeon quest game)
    - Arcane buff which enhances 1 magic skill (similar to meikyo) and buffs the dte of the staff for 10%, mana cost will be 1400 mp

    for Bow
    - Knock back an enemy in a distance? and enhances their first attack

    --- im still thinking what goodies i should i suggest ehe -- ill edit this later --

    hopefully this is good.
