Dual Sword Information and Photos

The # of hits DW normal attack is 4 i believe. 2 hits from your main hand and 2 hits from your offhand.
Ex: 300 > 100 > 300 > 100
Idk why some wants to have agi since offhand dmge is really low than mainhand.

 

Ive recheck it again and i see 2 phase atk which is first attack is 3hits (single blow that hits 3x or i call it xslash) nxt to it is 4hits (swing swords) . Main hand is hitting 2-3x harder than offhand.

So u mean sir agi increase the off hand (sub hand) damage? Cause i do pure dex, but the off hand damage is very low. I will try to do 50% dex and 50% agi, to balance the damage between main hand and off hand. U thinks its the right idea sir?

 

I got 4 stats distributed, str,agi,dex and crit i don't know how could i calculate the damage, but most of the time i got my damage goes up to 240-280-300-340, and has a crit to reach about 440-460-490-540. Dunno how this works, but dw isnt a char to have pure stat, you need to put 2-3 stat to increase its damage.

 

Do you mind sharing what is your stat distribution? Your main and off-hand seems to be close & well-balanced.

 

I'm still wondering how to increase the dmg of whirlwind. Should I try putting int? cause I thought it looks kinda like magic. Anyway, dw is not a class for pure stats. I balance.the dex and agi and it works quite well. The dmg goes around 300-400 for main weap and 90-120 for sub weap. Also, the dmg of twin slash is quite good with crit, similar to 1h astute.

 

correct me if im wrong here... but as i have observe, in terms to attack.. the most stat that gives attack is Dex... dex gives 2 per dex stat then agi and str gives 1... id rather go dex agi where dex is my primary stat then all equips wud go boost crit and crit damage... i just tot about this since str gives the same value as agi but dont have the flee... so i tot of ditching str...
plus the skill of DW already gives agi (God Speed) right??? then why not follow up on that

@Ergeruz Don't forget Str also gives critical damage, and we can also add Crit stat. With DW's super high aspd and mana regen, when DW is attacking with (crit % up / crit dmg up) combo and crit procs .... Can you imagine the amount of damage potentially it can deal?

 

ahhh now i see..... well all my speculations are just based on when you are distributing stats, the one you see what changes when dist. stat... well that info saved me for creating my 6th DW

 

Would it be possible to create a magical swordsman? Or would it be nessesary to have somekind of magical weapon equipped?

I'm thinking like int>agi>dex

 

Magical swordsman, meaning have magic attacks and/or healing, support spells? Need a certain level of INT stat to work.
Or do you just mean swordsman with elemental weapons?

I'm thinking that if the mana regen is high enough and the cast spd fast enough, one could rapid fire magical attacks.

 

Yes, theoretically that works because DW's main stat is Dex, so its CSPD is high. At 100 Dex, CSPD is around 400, 900+ if you equip BD sword boss drop version.
You can cast even faster with Light remodeled armor and Light Armor Mastery (from base stat AGI) BUT with slightly reduced DEF & MDEF.
Your INT stat will compensate for the reduced MDEF when equipping light armor.

I'd suggest trying out Magic Arrows first. Open with quick-cast long range magical attack, then continue with melee attacks (even when magic attack is still ongoing) as mob gets close.

Combo: M. Arrow > Assault Attack > melee combo
Idea is:
Quick cast long range magic attack ---> zoom in to melee range ---> execute melee combo when magic attack is still ongoing.
So magic + physical/magical melee attacks are executed simultaneously.

@L-28 Do take note it's possible your physical and magic attacks are weak individually.
The key strategy here is to stack/execute magical & physical attacks together.
Example: Physical combo executed when Magic Arrows is still active
