HB luk as farmer, your thoughts?

Thanks for the advice. Actually, I normally farm Grape Gelatin without combo. Was just indicating that the combo I said earlier cannot be used on them. I prefer using the combo on Mine Digger because it consume only 1-bar MP.

I put 255 points into STR, so the +50% dmg from Smite was just used to compensate the -60% damage from Save. I could spam Dive Impact without combo and I had no problem dealing with Grape Gelatin. Although it'd be better if I can reduce my STR to increase my LCK instead.

If it's just Swift after Magic: Impact, I suggest using Dive Impact with no combo instead. The mana consumption is still the same (4-bar MP). And Dive Impact alone is faster than using Magic: Impact + swift Dive Impact altogether.

Great! STR optimization is important for me, as LCK should be more focused while only an amount of STR should be enough to OHKO the mobs.

 

is the parasol lance from event like the best hb for hb luk? 400 atk and +30 crit or is there better hb??

 

Better if you have elem spear.
You can get 100crit today with food buffs and new equips.
Then spend 10 more sp you can have DT which can still be useful ing leveling

 

You neew low mp to get a 300mp charge, that is if u are still alive.....mobs can hit hard.

nepenthe (mobs ) were quite hard. hb luck need at least 2k of atk. In the end i put 190 and 200 str. With +200 str, farming was a bit easy and only need to deal with some mobs who eva or already verge of death. Impact>dive (swift)>quick aura is not suitable because nepenthe can stun you during you are performing quick aura (when they eva ). I think my level is too low (lvl 85) and my hb need to be refined more.

 

You mean low hp, as long as one can maintain an hp of less than 50% you can maximize war cry of struggle's mp recovery, you can also survive most mobs by having a high hp so you can still survive 1 hit even when having less than 50%. I mean there's already a video showing an hb farmer in action and it is very effective, even more effective than using storm in high hp mobs.

All i want to say here is be mentally prepared when u changing ur luk mage to halberd mage. Bcause u will hard to find party or NEVER will!!!
I once testing if people will accept hb luk in pt, so i "lfp hb luck" and got invited in pt. Then i farm like usual, a mere seconds later i got kicked...? nANI?!!
Until now i'm holding a lil bit of grudges to mage luck. Hmm maybe a lil bit more above "a lil bit".
Well i dont really care as i always solo 90% of the time. Well at the same time i laughed so hard seeing them struggle on 20k+ hp mobs using staff to storm and finale cant event farm efficiently and always die. Served u right!

lol i told you to not get tilted, the thing about building new builds is that it all looks beautiful , here on paper. OH MA LURD I CAN MAKE THIS SKILL EVEN BETTER IF I COMBINE WITH THIS SKILLS!!! IT"S GONNA WORK SO WELL!!!!!!. I see a lot of people doing that only to be disappointed with the final result. SO let me ask you this....What are your thoughts on HB with (GSW + Power Wave)? i bet it sounds awesome can you imagine all that motion speed and using power wave from afar? so beautiful right? go ahead and try it u will see the issues. Why dont you use reflex in starting skill, so the weak mobs will not perished before casting dive impact.

The combo will not continue if you start with reflex. You need to hit at least once

 

Been using HB luk for a week, I feel its not really hard to get in pt.. Just be a pt leader and tell them if you're hb luk everytime someone just joined. Tho I usually farm high lvl mobs instead of "stormer" mobs, some of them know how good hb luk is. *Kek*

I did not know that the dive impact has a secondary explosion effect, maybe ill try HB farmer build it looks fun.

Lol I know the pain once you’re doing a farm run around mages ( and I mean the misinformed ones who rely on YouTube videos for their builds)
Yeah you can have a difficult time, I heard of hb luck, pt with them even just to see if they struggle or not and they did fine, waiting for reset to do that to my luck mage. I also experimenting with my 2h/1+md farmer and it’s peeing and farming ok, just waiting to get to a higher level to test it on Uber mobs, and like you mages don’t want to come near me but I solo well so it’s not like I need them xd, ppl need to understand that the beauty of the game is trying out stuff, not copy and paste each other builds that’s lame.
