TFL Rules: Suggestions and Ideas

    I agree with this, what I wanted to point out that like in game battle when 2H and Mage in a boss party. Is it right to make the mage atk first and let the mage be the tank? Usually 2H will take role instead when no tank exist right? I dont mean that they are suppose to take damage. What I mean they are short range, even if they are dont want to tank, it will harder for them to avoid wide range direct hit like what dg do. This will make them usually win tank rank right?
    Like alleura idea, the judge is the tanker, judge will use provoke once at the opening, after that it's depend how they control the agro. Shoot skill has a sneak atk for that. This will not only need strategy but player's agility too, how they take action fast when they are on atk, like atk while run to avoid damage, what is the perfect time to execute skill or combo before the atk from boss will reach u. So it won't only about best gear. But Player's experience too, like they will need many tries to find boss' pattern atk to easier avoid atk in case they take agro. But all of above is not needed if tank is not punished. We can just carelessly take damage as long as we have potion on. But all of these still depend on TFL Staff. We only give idea.

    What about a team TFL? Like teams of three kill time contest. Say the kill times of five rounds against Roga averaged or something a long those lines?

    A trio pt with one judge.
    This type of time trial (am I using a correct term here?) type of tournament has a very high chance to encourage ppl building a nice combination in pt (instead of mage+mage+sniper+sniper pt).
    however, this kinda trio time trial can also make an elitism lengthy debate threads sprouting like crazy every here and there, but, i dont give a single waffle (im waffling myself here, not censored) abt elitist ignorants, anw.
    I support a team time trial TFL!

    the more the better and it's not like we are rushing to start. i just saw a few people here w strong opinions, so might as well transfer those words into actions and manage tfl :p

    tfl staff, I want ask, how much time player break between stage? because there are different time needed by player to recovery mana. thanks

    I'm not official TFL staff but I'm pretty sure that everyone is allowed to completely recover mana and HP before each round.

    It happened last time so unless rules are changed Players will still be allowed to mp recovery.

    Banning provoke would work fine tbh, as that skill is the only problem in tfl. The problem there is that provoke isn't particularly flashy, and is basically just a simple taunt, which is easily missable.

    Then you expect tankers to get tank by attacking the boss and making sure that the other player doesn't get the aggro? I get that tanks can always use the rage sword skill, but if they only use that than they will just be spamming the skill and atk for mp restoring. Provoke is one of the most important skills for tank. Plus recording the battles would take even longer.

    I'm talking about outside tank tier, duhhhh. Tank is it's own tier already, so them using voke is fine since they only have to get tank. Other classes however, would not touch provoke with a ten foot pole.

    it depends how long it takes players to get ready. the match doesn't start until all opponent confirms they're ready.

    Oh you also meant other tiers. Well wouldn't that be a hybrid build if you had provoke or no?

    Not in this case because Knight Skills are secondary skills just as Dagger, Shield and Priest.
    The mages that use Provoke aren't mixing another main skill tree, so they aren't an hybrid.

    Outside of the Tank tier of course, I support the idea that aggro should be gained by other means than using Provoke, like having a longer combo than your opponent will eventually accumulate more aggro in your favor, but lessen your dps in the long run, players will indeed need to strategize harder than just Storm>Provoke/Snipe>Provoke to secure their ranks.
