TFL Rules: Suggestions and Ideas

This sounds like a better idea than just banning tank entirely.

 

that happened to me battling a fellow guild mate i can beat him but he used knight skill knight skill can be use to increase aggro which is a purpose for tank characters not mage character

No the use of them is fine but the way it was used

 

if they have it they will just spam it over and over like my guildmate did

thats why knight skill should be banned in all tiers except for tank tier if they have it the will automaticaly win breaker and tank rank which i think isnt fair

 

I think we should delve deeper into what the essence of each tier should be. and focus on what rank they're supposed to take.

Like 2h should only target Attacker and Breaker, and if either contestant gets either rank, it should come down to who gets the Tank rank.
Mage should focus on Attacker and Tank. Since they don't have innate break skills other than Impact, which they'd have to rely on gap closers to initiate it on, like assault attack.
1h Should Either be Breaker and Tank since most 1h builds rely on tanky builds and spam hh or shield bash.
Archers/Snipers can be same as 2h, getting Attacker and Breaker, because almost all of them rely on being glass cannon.
DW Tier can go for either Breaker and Tank or Attacker and Breaker, mostly likely it'd be attacker and breaker because of their unique skill trees.

Tank on the other hand should only focus on Tank rank. because who would want to watch a long ass fight with a roga with 250k hp and you only hit 1 damage per hit.

i agree with that but the real issue is the knight skills thou they will just spam it and get breaker tank rank

 

I agree with this but i think there are mages who build support too and some 1h who do atkr build
How bout break/tank/support rank for tanks? I mean a tank can also do flinching/stunnin or support right?

But Support rank doesn't count right? since most of the time, each tier just focuses on getting Attacker, Breaker and Tank.
The tourney should be about building the best in each tier while still keeping it's essence.
yes there will be unique builds, but some of the builds that are vying for the TFL Champ title is losing it's essence because they're adjusting to the rules that they should get 2 ranks per battle. Yes there are aggresive mages, yes there are tanky 2h, yes there is a damage oriented 1h, but those are builds that suit your own playstyle.
The TFL should support players to play with their own playstyle, rather than play with the TFL playstyle.

 

but i think support in mage is pretty useless but if you put support in tank its pretty hardcore tank like what senpai sam did with his tank i think its awesome

 

Idk if this is already suggested or not (too lazy to read, huehue), here r my suggestions :
- MD Specific tier (c'mon, gunner and blader got some loves already).
- Remove Hybrid Tier (since Toram is all abt mixing build, and I am prety sure that no one is gonna stay pure, as the game progress on), so Hybrid class goes to its respective tier based on their main weapon. (this has been implemented on my local tournament, @Irusaru knows better abt this ^^)
- Ban Provoke and Rage Sword (resuggest and agreeing with others, to make my post longer, so I look classy) on non Tank Tier.

i agree with your suggestion because we dont only have impact sniper now we got brawler sniper and monk build and yes knight skill should be banned

 

why must restart of the match? there are many build for a class, like mage breaker, so what different with mage tanker? i suggest, for sake of dps, how if add 1 tier for dps tier only, and for all class is free develop the build to win tfl.

 

i have question, so u limit the build of class? in my opinion there many build to win the tfl, so we can not limit it. besides we all know the build of tournament can different with regular farm. is there fault for a build for special purpose to win tfl?

 

Hi, sorry but you didn't understand my comment.
I suggest to restart the match if a player glitches not because of anything to do with the builds.

 

If you get a Mage and put tank skills and play it like a tank but with mage skill dps. That should be considered as a hybrid.
