Exactly. Because the damage is already high. ^^
Bows with STR will catch up with the ATK of bowguns when second stat is maxed. But at that time, bowguns will have maxed CRT stat which means practically always crit and always high crit damage. In the end everything is reduced to Stability and Status Ailment differences.

Exactly. If gear bow lowers ur base, might as well go STR and let crit gear take care of crit chance as the crit from gear is likely not being halved.

How about testing with 0 Long Range Mastery with let's say 80% stab and 10 Long Range Mastery with 80% stab Then 0 Long Range Mastery with 100% stab and 10 Long Range Mastery with 100% stab?

Will cost a re-skill or 2, but seems the only logical way :(

1 re-skill should be fine. You can do the 0 Long Range Mastery with 80% and 100% stab then level up Long Range Mastery to 10 then test with 80% and 100%. This will give us 2 results. 1 is if Long Range Mastery does add damage and 2 is if Long Range Mastery does add damage even with 100% stab.

And don't forget to include -8m/8m+ comparison in the test.

Oh right, so tests that should be done are:

    1) 0 Long Range Mastery, 80% Stability, 1-8m
    2) 0 Long Range Mastery, 80% Stability, 8m+
    3) 10 Long Range Mastery, 80% Stability, 1-8m
    4) 10 Long Range Mastery, 80% Stability, 8m+
    5) 0 Long Range Mastery, 100% Stability, 1-8m
    6) 0 Long Range Mastery, 100% Stability, 8m+
    7) 10 Long Range Mastery, 100% Stability, 1-8m
    8) 10 Long Range Mastery, 100% Stability, 8m+

    This is too many.

I'll be happy to test 8-10,
while testing 1-4 will require many hits to be registered n re-comparison

I'll see if I can test 0-4 this weekend but i'm not really sure yet since I just recently remade one of my chars and took up the slot for the test char. :(

don't force it, tis just game

btw I'm sure if there's change in damage when I test it by 100% stability with/without long shoot mastery, then I'm sure any stability under it works the same

Let's use critical damage as an example. Our base CDMG is 150%. Our weapon stats add damage which summed up with base dmg we call it Total. However, character stats such as STR and the CRT personal stat add to Base. Meaning that if you increase STR and achieve a 200% base C.DMG your gear stats will act over that.

To simplify it, Base stats are your character's stats when it is completely nude.

base stats are natural stats that our char has without any gears attached, it will grow along with levels.
these base stats can be increased/decreased using various gears.

    now to some example:
for 1h sword user, astute gives 25% flat crit rate to our base 25% making it 50% crit rate buff even without CRT stats or any other crit rate gear. if we have other crit rate gear, say killer coat with crit rate+10... astute still only buffs 25% crit rate, making it 25% base + 10% from killer coat + 25% astute buff = 60% crit rate in total.

same numbers applied to base stats decreases as well

As soon as @Mugami comments here, Asobimo will know about the Android, stability and range bugs.

When people start questioning the name of your build, instead of the build itself, it's a good sign ^^

Gotta go back and cap my Angelic too :D

    BK.
Long range mastery is +10% long range dmg +0% stability, needa be over 8m for it to take effect, the 100%crit bug isnt due to this passive but maybe the actual bow itself, and with 100% stability long range mastery will still add 10% of the dmg dealt

Based on test with Berzerker blade (hp-24%)...

With full gear, hp went from 2907 to 2725... Difference 182 hp
Naked, hp went from 1907 to 1725... Difference 182 hp

First find: -24% does not affect hp gained from gear / xtal

    182 / 24% is roughly 758 hp

Second find: -24% hp does not affect hp gained from Survival tree

Conclusion: -24% only affected base hp

Applying to this build... Drum roll please...

-50% crit rate should only affect 25% base crit rate...

    25% x .5 = 12.5%, say round it down to 12%
You can get 10 from K-coat
    10 from CRT-Up
    10 from War helm
    6 from Warmonger
You still have 48% crit rate to play with...

Now whether that applies to CRT-rate obtained from CRT stat, or if Berzerker blade takes hp off from VIT stat, that's something I can't test now.

I know who can!! @BK.' how much does B blade take off of your Hp?
