Why there are no Tanks oO

Changed my my lv45 VIT into a blacksmith after realizing this... sign.
At least she stilll got provoke/HP UP/Mini Heal for whatever reason I need her to tank.

 

In light of what has been discussed so far, I'd like to call on fellow Shield Brothers and Sisters to starting a petition to achieve;
1) Include +10% (@lvl10) Guard Rate/Power, -10%atk/matk to Shield Mastery.
2) Include +10% (@lvl10)Physical/Magic Resistance to Force Shield and Magic Shield.
3) Include Guard Power and Ailment Resistance and +Aggro (gtfo everyone else XD ) to Heavy Armor.

I edited and added +Aggro to Hvy so everyone else can gtfo Heavy Armor.

 

These reason might have been repeated, but here are some reasons tanks aren't seen.

1.) Players prefer fast runs do they wouldn't need a tank.

2.) The cost of buying the skills get expensive. Seriously a tank is like 50k worth of skills.

3.) Tanks love to use revita if I'm not incorrect. So... You feel like burning stack by stack of revita each battle?

4.) Anyone can tank with these simple skills: Provoke or Rage Sword. If that doesn't work then supporters are big aggro makers plus big attackers.

5.) There hasn't been any hard bosses lately. Sure you can count GK, but that is a mini boss and can be taken down with a brawler.

6.) You don't earn anything but pain. Literally. Unless you make a luck tank ( Idk who would ) then you have average change of drops like any other player. ( not counting luck stats, books, or the drop rate boost skill ) You waste revita on each boss too.

Tanks are good in mazes though. Make the tank the leader and you can go through flows in a snap with a good party.

 

There will definitely not be new gear for tanks, plate armor is the best and only ting you'll have for a while. If brawlers, an official type, are not getting much support, if any, a tank will not get much more new gear. It's all universal, anyone can just take the position of tank with roga xtal and all the hp buffs.

 

Ummmmmmmmm... tanks get new gear more often than brawlers XD bralwers is just hated by asobimo for some reason... and ftr in ANY MMO a tank is a class, even if it isnt shown as one of the 4 starters, it has like 3 seperate skill trees just for it

 

Duh just use rage sword + shield bash combo and get QuickDraw 10 so can spam more for 1mp HH/Asti> rage sword save > shield bash swift/ cannon ball swift. Just enjoying the build.

And that's why hp boost/roga/vita II are recommended for snipers.

Its not a bug! Its called Fractional Damage, say you have 1k hp and get hit by it, you'll loose 950 hit points, then you have 10k hp and get the same hit, it will be a 9.5k hit.


* Most players would see tanks as useless but tbh I do like to snipe gk and arco without being molested by them attacking me. Boss runs are meant for breaking and fast killing, no tank needed, tanks are meant for mini-bosses and maze.

 

You'll also notice how good tanks are when you can get one to hold multiple mini bosses at a time while you blast the bejeezies out of them, now that's fast farming

:combo recently changed for more freedom of movement.
MG enabled at 1.3k matck now
hysical before magic modifier
:4k HP now with roga pumping full vit now till 150 cap for def+m.def
:long range launch atck(for storm alignment.
:with more s.points very high tank ability+dmger.
fast acting combos with status debuffs.
:solid mix of skill trees.
cons
: 75% completed ATM only.
: 40 s.points needed for complete combo.
as I said in many build guides its all about player preference..however...
if they have to rely on spanning pots now then vs fast future Bose's that 10 sec pot cook down time is gona cruntch those bones xD as for kokos luck build no vit one thing that concerns me how he will deal with full screen aoes its all good ppl holding aggro but when that aggro one hits then what do they then do?

 

now i miss gs farm with my tank 3-4 gs at the same time is quite good )

But full int 360 room goldie farm faster and more efficient kills

 

haha yeah squid. but that was before the discovery of 360 rm and now may tank collects dust now. might try roga or empress if players still need a tank

 

Get a brawler who can lock down the boss, 2 mages, 1 sniper

also added @KokoBot. u say agi+vit tanks may"struggle vs aoes from bosses yet you stated ur pure luck build so surely u would take more basic mob hits and suffer the same aoe hits? or do the sensable thing and sidestep them? I was proud of my ex 6k HP 650 flee brawler tbh(may he rest in piece)
