Why there are no Tanks oO

    Lets all come to an agreement that all tanks are to ones preference, mine is a 9Lives Paladin, focuses on def, hp and healing power(miniheal is based off of hp) getting all those 3 up as much as i can whilst maintaining decent mp is my goal, we all have goals we want to achieve, and some tanks are better than others in different situations, but every build has its pros and cons, if the time comes when a boss needs a high hp tank there will be some tanks there to tank it, imo there should be many more vit tanks then there already is, even tho it may seem unnecessary to alot of ppl but atleast its there when its needed, ive been doing gs these past days tanking 4 at a time and it was smooth all the way through, hp and def allows me to do that with no problem, a non vit build imo wouldnt be able to sponge all their fast attacking hits, but even tho ppl say vit tanks are a waste of time the parties i was in didnt complain once and was fairly happy to just sit back and do the dps without effort of surviving, so please guys if a build makes the person happy and enjoys the build its not useless, same with every build from brawlers to archers, also imo ppl have doubts about making a tank because of the hate they receive, so to all who wishes to make a tank stand up and do as u wish, make something that will make u proud

    bravo bk, I agree I also focus mainly on hi Hp and def lol and well I've never had anyone complain about sitting back and pushing their dps shortcuts as I beefcake it up :3

    Your tank sure accomplished all of that, BK. I don't think anyone who's partied with yours will not be impressed ^^

    I said gloria alone is as good as VIT alone. (with good amour + Shield, the DEF it gives should be better than 220 VIT), which was nothing wrong.
    Them 2 boost each other, I know.
    The problem is like other MMO I played most the time you only need to hold argo, kite and able to survive 1-2 hard hits, which pretty much a luck tank (i.e tank without any stat) can do pretty much that. So the larger HP-DEF only used to show off or served some very specific niche cases.
    Not to mention faction damage which pretty much s**t all over Tanks builds.

    I hear you. The fractional damage is what made me give up on tanking. But, people are doing it and they do a good job at it. I have very high regards for every decent tanks that I've partied with, takes a lot of courage, dedication and skill to be a good tank in Toram, no matter which type of tank they choose to be ^^

    If ur wondering what that does

    Sanctuary- (MP 400)No Limit Create a sanctuary and protect allies. Reduce damage taken while in the area. The amount depends on each player's MaxHP. Ineffective against fatal damage.

    it makes a area the size of wall with staff and does not go away after taking damage It has a 30 sec duration at lvl 10

    I have it but 9.75/10 of times i dnt need it:p, i also have it in combo with assault attack shield bash consec sanctuary consec, costs 3mp which can be regained by an mp charge but its a decent skill, lvl 10 is 15secs buff time
